honest thoughts on turning 20

Grateful for where I've been, excited for where I'm heading!
You need to stop taking things so personally
มุมมอง 1044 หลายเดือนก่อน
It doesn't really matter if you are truly comfortable with yourself and your journey. “Nothing is burdensome if taken lightly, and nothing need arouse one's irritation so long as one doesn't make it bigger than it is by getting irritated.” ― Lucius Annaeus Seneca, Letters from a Stoic
realizing that everyone is also just trying to figure it out
มุมมอง 834 หลายเดือนก่อน
It is completely okay to be exactly where you are right now. It is okay to not have it figured out. We are here to experience, grow, and become. Embrace the uncertainty and chaos of life. This is what makes life exciting!
Your direction in life matters more than how fast you are
มุมมอง 1464 หลายเดือนก่อน
Picking the right direction is far more important. Progress over speed. Continue putting the pieces together for this puzzle we call life. Remember that progress is nonlinear and allow yourself to learn from mistakes. Keep on going, you got this, I'm proud of you!
Learning to forgive myself and others
มุมมอง 974 หลายเดือนก่อน
To forgive is to choose the other side of resentment which is wisdom.
Living in the present moment is key
มุมมอง 704 หลายเดือนก่อน
The present is the only time. If you don’t start living in it, you don't really live at all. If you’re present, you’ll realize how many gifts and how much abundance there is around us at all times. That’s all you really need to do.
Become your authentic self
มุมมอง 1244 หลายเดือนก่อน
Staying true to yourself is key! Take a chance and let people accept you for who you really are. Unwind your mind and train your soul to align.
You should still do it with fear (what fear is really telling you)
มุมมอง 2.3K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Remind yourself that fear is actually the shadow side to what you love. Fear is an indicator that something is worthwhile and powerful. Just get started, even if you have fear.
an honest conversation to my younger self

What you learn and who you become is more important than how you temporarily feel. Trust me, it gets better with time!
Accepting Changes In Life
มุมมอง 2.3K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Yes, we are always going through changes. And there is a way to accept. Keep on growing and evolving!

The hero's journey
Have you been to Taiwan 🇹🇼?
The videos are very nice but for some tasks the videos are lagging
Bravo Kalman 🌺
Lot of care and discipline in your day to day - it's very inspiring. I wanted to say though I disagree about there being a binary choice between pain now and pleasure later. Tangibly, yes, racking up hours of hard work in our time now will likely give us a much more comfortable end result, but I think there's a lot that can be missed with that. I think it places a little too much weight on the outcome - the perceived pleasure you are delaying your immediate happiness for now - such that the expectation of happiness itself is what's motivating you even though there can never really be a guarantee. Monetary pleasure can mean social suffering, etc. I think it's important in terms of mental toughness to be able to withstand the things you dislike yet encounter day in and day out, but I think it's equally important to recognize that pain and pleasure are experienced equally as segments of your life. Neither is completely free from the other, and if you (not literally you, but generally) can find pleasure in times of predominant pain I think you relieve some of that weight off the outcome. Need to try sweet green lol. Also, I loved the editing in this - could tell this took a lot of effort and time.
inspiration to us all

You look buff 😊
felt this to the soul! good stuff man.
Such eye candy
needed this one - have had such a negative mindset and looked at this next decade with a sort of dread and feeling of being under pressure, when really I should be excited. This was very refreshing. I had a similar experience a few days ago: I was walking out of the grocery store and the sun hit me in a way that just brought me right back to the playground in elementary school. It felt hard to breathe for a while. I was so overwhelmed with thankfulness for the fact that I am where I am now. I know this is a video for your future self, but I really want to say thank you for this video. Good luck in your next decade :)
thanks for sharing. recently, i've been feeling a lot of childhood joys resurface as well! appreciate it Richard, best of luck on your journey!

"What's on the other side of fear is your authentic, true life, that you are here to live - that you are here to express - that you are here to share with people.". "The other side of fear is love."
love the message and the authenticity
appreciate it!
Awesome you speak from the hearth, from france 🇫🇷 ❤
thank you!
I liked this a lot. I think you made a very important distinction in the definition of "achievement" on an individual level rather than one determined by eternal factors/valuations. I think it goes hand in hand with how people, including myself, sometimes wish for this "overnight success" story - one predicated on outcomes and not processes. In reality, you can't learn a lesson from words on a page or in a video, because unless you first experience them how can they truly resonate with you. In the same vein, you have to be present in your own journey, feel it all, and keep going forward in order for what really is the end to mean something when you get there. Loved this. Questions: 1. What does it mean to love? 2. How do you overcome anger?
thanks richard! great ideas. will make videos on it!
wow wow i've been in a similar situation to start a channel but i just haven't stepped out of my block, although i feel like it's soon. so i added ur video to my playlist cuz i feel like the future me who is already on the other side, will one day see this video and laugh at how scared i was. also i still kinda feel ur a bit scared (maybe it's my own projection), but still, i didn't mind at all bc i see ur trying and ur message is valuable and it feels authentic. this just comforted me bc i was so scared to be vulnarable to a guy i was dating but still, i did it scared. his reaction is not the best but seeing u is almost like seeing me at that time. and now i can finally accept my behaviour even if i didn't do it in the most confident way, i love how authentic i was plus i only spread love so it should be something to celebrate. plus better guys will come to my life who will respond to my nervous vulnerability well! thank u for helping my path
thanks for sharing, glad to help!
for some reason that looks like calgary but i know its not. your video helps clarify and solidify other people's relationships with fear in terms of overcoming it. i think some of us become aware that we need to overcome fear or at least do things regardless of the fear we have after living so many years letting your fear repress ourselves, your video helps clarify that intuitive urge and also i think helps start the path of overcoming fear for others who haven't yet.
You have nice legs
