Anyone who is older that played High School Football would probably look back a that snap shot in life and think how much fun we had playing the sport and the fun of playing in front of the home crowd on a Friday night. Loved watching this. Hope many are alive to relive the fun of their youth.

You could see how this was grandma basketball compared to the ABA, which started 2 years earlier. Was there a no dunk rule in the NBA in 1969? Best players in the land and none of them even sniffed a dunk. And let's not get ahead of ourselves, there is a lot of crappy basketball in this game. But nice to see some Don Kojis footage.

Looked like Polovina wasn't so much trapped in the end zone as happened to be there following an interception when a teammate committed illegal use of hands. Had he just been trapped there, it would've been a touchback. Too bad when your good play backfires because of a teammate's mistake.

That’s stupid if that’s the case, depriving people of some good games that’s for sure. Obviously Big Red is a powerhouse, but there not perfect. Lots of great games throughout history, wins and losses. I just remember the 2000s Big Red/EL games being great games. Back and forth for about 6 years before EL dropped off a cliff

Do you have any of the Big Red vs Liverpool games from the early 2000s? Both teams went back and forth there for a couple years, very entertaining rivalry at the time. Would love to watch some of those games
The greatest games I can think from this rivalry was 1989 at Steubenville. HUGE crowd. Big Red had like 3 goal line stands to win 7-0 The other would be 2002. Pouring down rain, EL pulled off the upset 6-0.
