How come I can scour TH-cam and not find a single video of the system operating? That’s pretty pathetic. Is it super loud? Or is here some other reason they NEVER EVER demo their under the hood system? Afraid of turning customers away from your product?? I’ve been trying to find out what it sounds like at full duty and haven’t been able to find a single video of a vehicle driving a vmac system. Seems very misleading. Is it red-lining the motor? Or why do they try to hide what it sounds like when it’s running?

GVW is gross vehicle weight, your compressor will not increase this at all... it will however lower the payload by increasing the curb weight. I'm not sure if I can trust your product if you don't know the industry you're in.

Our V900115 will fit your vehicle, mr2177. Because it is belt driven off the crankshaft that means idlers and tension could wear out and need to be replaced. The compressor will only run when the clutch is engaged. It will not affect fuel mileage. Thanks for your comments. Does the unit affect mpg via accessory when not in use? Does it wear out when not in use? I'm thinking of buying a 2013 chevy with the 5.3, but plan on only using the compressor sparingly, once or twice a month, that sort of thing.

Joe - We make a kit for the 5.3L Vortec but only for 2012-2013, and I don't believe we made a kit at all back in 1999 for the 5.3 Vortec. What size is your tank?

Well yeah. I have an onboard air system, not for bags but for a train horns and to run power tools if I want or whatever. It's not riced out... looks pretty stock. I have Viair 400C installed in it right now that's powered by the vehicle's battery and it's pretty fast. I played with the idea of converted the air conditioning compressor into an air compressor but that didn't work out.
