Love this vid❣️ I’m in NC and thank goodness we have some great breeders in our state. We have been researching and the Bernedoodle is on our shortlist. We have always rescued adult or special needs dogs. We have we never had a puppy and are super excited. We are also trying to fight the guilt of not rescuing this time around. 🥺
Puppies are superstars during training till the leash comes off. They are smart enough to know that they can run away when there is no leash connected to them. 😂
Great video! Sadie is absolutely adorable, and so smart! ❤
is there a website to get these dogs and are they hypoallergenic?
How long is the leash you’re using with sadie
Very good video 👏🏼
This video is very informative. I'm looking to get a puppy soon and I can't decide if I want a Mini Goldendoodle or a Mini Bernedoodle.
What do we do when the dog jumps on you when you're trying to give them a treat for a good act, but now they don't sit back, they want to treat.
I have a 5 month old Bernedoodle that is bell potty trained. She can sit, shake and high five. She loves to play fetch. I can’t keep her from jumping on people when they come to visit. Any suggestions?
❤
treats you used , Amazon? Also i have a Bernedoodle in transit to be delivered, any recommendations on the type of puppy food for this type of breed?
What kind of treat is best to use?
What a cute puppy
Awesome video!
This was a really informative video so helpful. At what age did u start training and how many times a day did u train her. Our furbaby is arriving in 5wks 😁
Great video man. I dont even have a dog but I definitely will remember this video
Great video!!! I have a 9nwk old bully and a 5 month old pocket. The xl loves to eat A...LOT LOL
How do you teach place?
if a border collie and a poodle are the smartest dog i wonder if these animals are even smarter
Bernese Mt dog - look it up plus Poodle which are considered smart - I have wanted one for awhile - the word "goofy" comes up frequently...I think border collies are considered the smartest dogs...so how smart do we need...
How long had you been working with her *PRIOR* to this video?
Is she a mini?
More vids with Sadie
Hi, great video. What is her place contraption called? I’m wanting to order one. Thanks
Looks like a mini trampoline
They're simply called "PLACE BOARDS". Any *SPOT* you have them place is the key. Have them "place" on a cut out piece of cardboard, a rug, etc that when you move them there and command "PLACE", wherever it is, then that space/object becomes the "place".
how many times do i need to do this to get these results? same dog
I have a bernedoodle 3 months old but wherever I go, he fallow me and ifs so hard to calm him down I will try this progress and let's see in a months😅
They go on the hope, almost like a lottery 😂😂😂
Is she a toy or Mini?
What about using wet food ? Can't put that in the hand
Loved it!!
This is a well done tutorial, but.... I wish trainers would work with dogs not already trained so we can see the process. Seems more helpful than the dog that's already trained.
Kevin, I agree. Where do you start, when? How long for a training session?
You start as soon as you get them home. Keep the sessions short and sweet, you don't want them to get frustrated. Starting training my standard bernedoodle at 7 weeks. Enrolled in puppy school at 4 months. Graduated and went on to adolescent aged obedience school. Graduated from foundation skills and went on to advance classes. She is 11 months now and on her way to earning a canine good citizen title. Best dogs ever! So worth all the hard work.
There's several videos online with o/trainers that reflect the process.
Great video
What a team! Beautiful dog, smart trainer. As for: Your dog doesn’t speak English. - Have you seen Bunny using her buttons? Edit: th-cam.com/video/QB9zY62xhws/w-d-xo.html 9:45 she was distracted by that plane; (“Big upstairs bird” in Bunny-talk; let me get the link)
Bunny concerned about birds and planes th-cam.com/video/04HrqSKVmIk/w-d-xo.html
Bunny always concerned about stranger (probably bird on the roof or plane in the sky) th-cam.com/video/AHiu-EDJUx0/w-d-xo.html
Might have mixed up the videos: this compilation also has a plane and Bunny reacting (we just don’t see her inventing the terminology, but Alexis is testifying for it to have happened before): th-cam.com/video/BKtoD8EM3To/w-d-xo.html
Excellent! Thank you.
I have a month bernedoodle any tips on love bites… I give substitutes and time outs & of course the word NO…. Nothing seems to work 🤷🏽♀️
Did you fix the issue ? We are getting a bernedoodle I’m nervous about this with little kids
I grab her mouth/snout and hold it closed and gently push it away while firmly saying NO.
Omgggg. Nine does this to!! She doesn't actually bite down, but she constantly gives "love bites". It's so gentle that my 2yr old neice and 13 yr old daughter aren't hurt by it. I just can't understand why she does it!?
@@jessicasmith1984 it's her way of telling you that Nine is a stoopid name. Change her name to something sane and that behavior will stop immediately.
@@Marcel_Audubon LOL I think it is because PUPS IN GENERAL need to bite..hello? Just like babies...
I bought one in the larger version. I am exhausted. Great video. How do I keep her from under my feet? I went flying in the air and landed on concrete. It’s like this little 8 week old is herding me. I will work on the items above. This young lady is very energetic. Hard to get her to sleep at night too. I sound exhausted huh? Lol We missed a delightful large breed that looked close to this one… had to do it. The walk along side you and not cross in front of you is a dangerous issue.
OMG ‼️ those cross overs vicious 🤣
Does your pup have any behavioral issues? Is its stomach really sensitive?
No stomach issue that I’m aware of . BM seen to be normal.why ask that?
@@Fancy370 I've been reading that apparently these "designer" dogs come with a whole host of issues. The argument is that, since they are mixed, they are unpredictable when it comes to temperament and the stomach issues, I heard from a youtube vid.
@@Jack-xl5eq interesting 😳 I’ll keep a watch for that. Maybe get an X-ray on the stomach in the future…. 😊 thank you
Please make more training videos…. You are good at it
This was so helpful! Thank you
Very informative video. Appreciate you taking the time to make this
Hola Jonathan existe Bernerdodles color Merle es q me venden uno y no deseo q me tomen el pelo
This is an awesome video! We're looking into getting a bernedoodle in a few months and this was an amazing crash course.
Did you get your bernedoodle?
They are adorable pups, but they don't always learn that quickly and are VERY high energy. I have a 7 month old female and have had her for 4 months, and she can be a challenge at times. But the cuteness factor on the bernedoodles is crazy, everybody loves them!
@@MsEliteMember Ha...I was going to ask just that question, and with their no response, my guess is she chose NOT to get one ;)
update
how many times a day do you train?
oh my goodness how??,
Thank you this helped a lot
