i every few years go back and replay this game, i bought a pan flute to plays signs of the past exclusively. this game was thee best snes game and i love super metroid with my whole heart. but this had the sound track the story the game play and the complexity that makes a top notch game.
I remember the day, when I finished "Illusion of Gaia". Will and Kara defeated the comet and returned back to earth. As far as I can remember, they lost their memories...forgot about their time together which made me sad. Accompanied by this title (for me) it was one of the saddest moments in RPG-history: I could barely hold back my tears. :) If there was a remake available: I´d buy it, no matter the price.
Goes to show how much love and dedication went into these old gems that were games back then. I remember this game moved me....this track in particular.
It reminds me of my childhood
Oh man, I'm 38 now...its been 30 years since I first played this. This really leads you to the boundaries of your existence. Yasuhiro Kawasaki did an incredible job this game. Does anyone know what happend to him? I figured that Quintet was located in the outskirts of Tokyo (I think Tamagawa/Kawasaki region). I even studied some japanese...still I am afraid to walk the graveyards there and look for some "Kawasaki" tomb stone :( I mean, why would he resign from making music after delivering this insane score?
*Kara developed deeper feelings towards Will*
Mom.. Dad…
Let me tell you how big disappointed I am that this badass dungeon did NOT have a sick ass boss waiting for you at the end…
This music was everything. I remember going there before I ready to just hear the music
Ich will zurück in die 80s und 90s.
You know everytime i hear this track it always makes me smile as its the first real dungeon theme you hear where you get your first mystic statue from and i do apologise for spamming the comments section of each video just really want to show that i did a remix of nearly all the tracks from the game and did them due justice never changed the structure of the track just expanded upon what was there and believe i have made them even more epic to show just how much i love this game but nothing will ever beat the original tracks th-cam.com/video/9TgL8H-eKW8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hKmDHhxG57JaiBzq
There is such an amazing feeling all of these tracks from the game give you a true sense of adventure lime you really are delving into ancient places i loved the whole concept of the Sky Garden loved this theme so much i made an Orchestra Remix of it sorry if it looks like I'm spamming the comments section on each video just feel the need to spread the word of my remoxed versions dont worry they don't divert away from the original structure th-cam.com/video/HvFNAVT7aig/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bgMtFmgHahIqzysX
Another one ofy most favourite themes from the game i was a bit disappointed that i got to the end of angkor wat and there was no boss battle i thought that was rather disappointing but i definitely wish to share with you my orchestra remix of this amazing track th-cam.com/video/grRK_POgels/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fCfukTBjYuK6NV5F
I absolutely loved this final boss theme and have recently made a second more improved orchestra remix of this track and has a whole lot more than I felt was missing or lacking in this theme but I cannot deny nothing ever beats the original without the originals I would not be able to do what I do just a shame there is no midi files that exist for The Great Wall Of China, Danger Abounds, Dark Space and Staff Roll Around The World th-cam.com/video/mbFVW1uTgM0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=s94bOUYJWdlDzWjf
i'm not crying... you're crying!
Song still brings me to tears
My personal favorite level in the game
Who else was stuck on the Vampires for weeks as a kid back in the day? ./
Amazing song!
The song I will hear when I die and my soul reunites with God, since I percieve God as a Mother and not a father (Im not religious but spiritual guy
hermosa canción 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Holy shit, ageless
One of My favorites, I've loved this game since it came out
20 years later I came back to this song and learned the accompaniment and melody on guitar. I love this song so much.
This is the music that will play in my head, when I'm giving my beautiful last words and eulogy for my dearly beloved whom will have sadly passed away... I hope that I don't lose her before I expire. It would be nice to expire together. The hard truth is... I'm pretty sure that one of us will hear a song like this at that appointed time unfortunately. 💔
All of the bosses aside from Sandfanger and the first form of Dark Gaia were pretty brutal. The vampires were insanely hard cause you had two fast moving bosses to fight, a time limit and that attack where both of them summoned an energy ball hit like a truck.
i remember doing this softlocked the game, like couldnt escape the sleep thing, it was dumb, great song tho.
You literally chose to quit, so of course you have to reset, that's the idea
@@corjonbett but as i kid i didnt understand this, i thought it was like a temporary thing and felt pointless
@@corjonbett I don't even understand why games had that feature, its not like windows since 95 where if you unproperly shut it down, bad things can happen.. come on now
Even as a kid playing this game I remember thinking "Wow, this composer really loves the timpani"
I fucking love the timpani and it’s honeslty thanks to this entire ost not just this track haha I’ll hear in some other video games soundtrack and just smile while enjoying it.l
Love this game so much the ost 🤌
#Videogamechill
My favorite song from this game <3
<3 This is the shit dreams are made of
better then anything today
Just right
Listening to this song leaves me feeling as if I am in the embrace of the idealized mother and that it's ok to cry.
I just imagine God in a femenine form, a pretty woman with long blonde hair and green eyes embravcing me since in the end... We Are One, she hugs me like I was a piece of her
It always blows my mind how so much video game music was influenced by prog rock.
Inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon I'd imagine
I think you might be onto something there
I think you’re right actually, to this day I still think it’s pretty amazing that majority if not all the locations are REAL. Or at least based on some mythology fact with enough evidence to back it up. The land of Mu for example
Oh that freakin demon scares me a lot when i was a child ahhahah
Advanced, angular melodies. Headache-inducing to the average listener.
Yet still is a favorite of mine on the soundtrack, along with Larai Cliff, Mu, and Sky Garden.
oh god. defuse the bomb, defeat the vampires. don't die!
This song brings my memory back to that video of that girl that recorded her things lived those 15 years to his passed away father back in the twin towers, wish I could help her get better from that sorrow feeling, but I know its part of life and it hurts too much
The feeling of floating endlessly through space detached from but also part of the universe at least witnessing it as a serene void where time is without meaning
Oh man, very good description
I was always scared of this music as a kid lmao
I wasn't- but I totally understand you. I have video game music like that- that I listen to today and its just a kitschy little jingle- but as a kid I was afraid of. I totally get it.
Too bad Ankor Wat no not have a boss, those vampires in my are a pain.
Right? It's as if the music isn't like say.. from Edward's Prison theme, then there's a boss
@@adventureoflinkmk2 this game still rocks

I love how the beginning of this is the same tune as the Memory Melody that you can learn to play on the flute.
How old was I when I heard this the first time...? Nine? Mesmerizing. Nostalgic. Pure, liquid memory.
I forgot this song. Easily one of the most beautiful songs.
Goddamn vampires and their goddamn bomb!
Sometimes.. I am here. I wish to be here more often. 💞
