BUILDING A WOODSHED [FULL BUILD]
This video documents the process of building a firewood storage shed. Beginning with site clearing, layout and placing the foundation. Then, the posts are plumbed and secured, allowing the beams to be placed. The 6x6 beams were milled from native logs on the property, and were cut to twice the length capacity of the available sawmill. Next, the rafters and fascia were installed, accompanied by the strapping, blocking and finally the sheet metal roofing. The last step included milling and installing the 1x5 siding. A second video showcasing the final siding, trim and finishing touches will accompany this video to complete the build.

BUYING AND UPGRADING A CHINESE MINI EXCAVATOR
มุมมอง 36K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I buy a cheap Chinese Excavator, and make some affordable upgrades. I start with a hinged engine cover to make maintenance much easier. I add a piano hinge to the operator's seat for quick engine bay inspections. I also replace the grease fittings, battery shut-off switch, install an additional cooling fan and more!
BUILDING A LEAN-TO [WORKSHOP EXPANSION]
มุมมอง 251K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This video documents the process of constructing a lean-to on my current workshop. Starting with the foundation, then milling the lumber, and finally building the structure.
MOVING A SHED | + BUILDING A FOUNDATION
มุมมอง 3.2K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I successfully move a small work shed to a new location. This work shed was a project of mine from several years ago, and was one of the first buildings that I constructed.
EXPANDING BEAVER ROAD

CARVING A ROAD INTO A HILL

This video showcases several days worth of work. This road (Beaver Road) will allow access to the build site for a future cabin project.
MINI TOOL SHED BUILD PART 1 [Built With Green Lumber]
มุมมอง 2.9K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This video documents the process of framing a small tool shed (not an outhouse), with green lumber. Meaning, all of the lumber used in this video was cut and milled shortly before construction. Will the lumber shrink uniformly, or will it warp and split into an ugly mess?... let's find out.

Where did you buy this and how much did it cost? I’m looking for a small one like this, actually I’d love to get the new electric Komatsu PC-01 with the Honda electric motor.
I bought it off of Facebook marketplace, $5,000 CAD. Though they are going for less now.
this is just what i need , easier than a new shed
I have a 1.5 ton machine they are wonderful easy to work on and you can customize them how you want but I have pilot controls I think that’s a must for easy operation and cuts down on the jerky movement I got mine from mms industrial fast shipping and good customer service
Nice to see an american doing concrete foundation without just putting the posts into the concrete :) Good video.
Thanks lol, but I'm Canadian. Glad you liked the video.
@@beavercreekbuilds Ah, that explains it. Sorry for calling you american :)
Where are your rocks? I’m baffeled
There are some on different parts of the property, but I was lucky to be working with such an easy soil.
Just curious but why use the nail gun sometimes and a hammer other times?
Sometimes it's more of a hassle to set the compressor up and be dragging the hose around, especially on the roof. I would chip away at this project after work, so sometimes the set up and clean up wasn't worth it for the time that I had. Thanks for watching!
@ oh ok. That makes sense. I guess I was over thinking it. I was thinking there might be a technical reason but I understand now. Thanks.
Did you treat the post with anything or are the post just milled and then put in the ground?
Do you have right to cut down a live tree within a forest
yep
what's the dimensions ?
12' x 20'
Your post holes should be passed the frost line and deeper.
Correct. They satisfy the building code in my area.
@beavercreekbuilds ok
New subscriber 👍
Thank you!
@ you are welcome 👍
Замечатель. 👍😎
What did the materials cost u? Got a list?
The lumber was free, I milled it. I don't have a list but the lumber sizes are 2x4 and 4x4.
Wow nice sharing video my friend watching support and God bless 🙏❤️
Thank You!
These Minis are so incredibly useful. I especially like that one can tow it behind an F150 on a small trailer. I picked one up because my other excavator has to be hauled on a lowbed behind a semi truck and is only really needed for the heavy jobs. Your modification are right on and I don't know why they put those silly grease fittings on them. I still have to change them.
I agree, thanks for watching!
Hope you don't get much frost jacking with that footer design...
The piers were widened at the bottom to create a larger bearing surface. They are also well below the frostline for this area.
I guess my concern is that with the square platform at the top of the pier it will give the ground around the platform something to lift against when it freezes. If that makes sense. Hopefully it's not an issue for you!
@@sheisillme I see your point. I'm not concerned with this structure as the surface area is minimal, but it is something to think about. Thanks for watching.
If he tried to build that where I live in Missouri he would have run into 5000 rocks by the time he was done
Greetings, i'm from Brazil and i must say, this is a great work.
Thank You!
Beautiful 🤩 build. I need one of them at my cabin
Thanks!
Great job!! It looks amazing.
Thank You!
Great shed. But Ginger and a Dodge truck. Poor lad
If you can't tell that my truck is a Ford, then I don't know how to help you.
Wow! Great build! Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. 👌👍
I Appreciate you watching. Thank You!
Well done. What state do you live ?? I'm in northern Minnesota and I use alot of the wood you use as well. Cheers !!
Thanks! I live in Western Canada.
ormanı katlettin amın oğlu ama güzel yaptın aferin
great great Job .
Thank you!
Built better and stronger than a lot of houses
Thanks!
Aw hell yeah 👍
Just found you and I subscribed. I too enjoy these videos with no music, no nonsense building to improve your off grid life. Be safe and thank you
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Outstanding!!!!!!
Thanks!
Great job
Thanks
Great video dude !
Thank You!
Estimate on how far you moved it? Clearly it was out on a road but on the whole it went well. 8:20
About 2km, maybe a bit more.
@beavercreekbuilds thank you. Now I am impressed. You drive backwards for all of it.
Thanks. It definitely had a learning curve, but it went well overall.
Not a shed lol thats a lean to shack. That keeps out like 15% of the weather. A shed keeps out 90% lol
Interesting perspective. Wrong, but interesting. A woodshed allows airflow by design to dry firewood. Thanks for watching!
I watch a lot of videos like this, but this one is definitely the most enjoyable and solid one
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Wider is always better when it comes to roads.
Золотые руки 😮
You did a great job
Thanks!
Well i learned several things and i suspect this will outlast all of us!
Thanks! It's holding up so far haha
I learned a few things here! Thanks!
I'm glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching!
This is a nice building but by far the weirdest building process I've ever seen. HA
Трактор 🚜 супер.
you are very good, and beautiful, good.
cant wait to see more videos on the MachPro

I have this exact same machine! Nice upgrades. This is my first excavator so I know nothing about how to do any of this but this video helped. Do you have any simple maintenance videos on this?
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found the video useful. I don't currently have any other videos featuring this machine, but there are many other channels with great basic information. Mike Festiva has made several videos with this same machine that I found useful.
Well built shed should last for years.
Thanks!
Right on dude 👍🏽
Very nice. Makes me want to go out and build something
Thanks!
