I am self taught in composition as well as all my instruments. I always have melodies in my head that I need to get out. Sometimes I’m inspired by other composers like John Mackey and Eric Whitacre.

I learned piano first. As for favorite instrument, that’s a tough one. It’s a toss up between sax and trombone. Though both are great, I think I’m gonna have to go with sax as my favorite instrument

@@musicalnature1905not sure if this arrangement is ready for live play yet. As many have mentioned, a lot of parts are fast, demanding, and don’t have breaks in-between for breathing. It’s still technically possible to play it in its current state but some notes will be cut short or missed depending on when the players choose to breathe. Consider also adding slurs for phrasing (this will also help with air economy) and don’t be afraid to add solos or breaks for specific instruments. It diversifies the musical texture and can make the piece more dramatic and varied.
