Aye bruh what if i actually feel way better alone? Is there any truth to introversion? Is it trauma? Am i frickin autistic bro?
Amazing! I love birds.
Snakeskin furniture adds such a nice touch when you're roughing it in the wild! Birds are more than clever!
It’s very vogue, I agree.
Plus snakeskin makes a fancy interior decor ;)
Cool!
interesting, they should try gpt 5 though dont you think?
Maybe, multiple choice tests aren't that great as a test in the first place ...
It's the definition of "leader" that needs reviewing, Dan. Every project will always require a project manager, never to confused with a leader though. The human species sends bat signals as well, it's the money men who are wannabe leaders which become the problem.
oopsy did you get some sunburn on your vaca? ouch thanks for the info! we are in such need of doctors
Thanks Dan 😊
Hi Dan .I am one of the authors of the article. Thank you for covering it-I thought your video and presentation were excellent!
I'm so glad to hear that. Thank you. Congrats on a fabulous study!
Hello D. Riskin, a question needs to be answered. What would happen if a lab would gather a few ingredients found in our own PLASMA, Positive O or/and Negative O. and we would drink it - would it help us regain some strength with some exercise to accompany it?
Fascinating, Professor, thanks! 😂
I'm feeling very grateful for your videos Dan. That outta buy a few extra sips of coffee worth of long longevity, so thanks for that. Have a great vacation.
I actually counted 52 blinks while you recorded this.....perhaps you missed two.....🤣🤣 Very Interesting......🤔
0:16 Odds increase 34% per year? That means that after 3 years every player would have CTE. I think whoever did that math has a brain injury.
@@Rickd-jh7iw not necessarily. If it started with a 1% chance, the next year it would be 1.34%, then 1.8%, then 2.4% and so on. Problem is, with the non-random sample problem, we can’t quite tell what that starting point was. Hope that’s clearer.
There has been a few prominent guys who have passed in their 50's. But was it CTE? Or something else? Chris Simon was a fighter and I wonder if that was CTE....
Depends how many hits give and take.
Interesting, but maybe also with clarifying that this is years of pro contact hockey. I’m a horrible hockey player (not a pro), but have had fun playing recreational and pickup hockey (no hitting) for over 25 years. Probably not the same risk. Keep the cool bat signals coming Dan!
Your point is a good one. For clarity, the study includes a bunch of people who never went pro - high school, etc. For them the rate of CTE was around 10%. Semi-pro was 46%, and pro was 96%. It doesn't really get into the rec-league stuff, but presumably people who played at those lower levels but quit continue on with beer leagues. Thanks, Derek.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
😀
Oh my gosh...she's (the dog)a cute and fuzzy puppy
Thanks Dan. I'm forwarding this to my 16 year old who is late with almost every school assignment these days.
i def agree with the late - challenges the integrity and perception. thx 4 sharing
That diabeetus bit caught me off guard
So Diego didn't look like that? 😟
What a cutie
3:07 so THAT'S what a sabretooth kitten looks like
Diebeetus strikes again
Just found this channel while searching up more info regarding the sabertooth kitten, very informative and easy to understand!
Thanks Dan.😊
Welcome to sperce! mmmsuhh.. lol
Dan, this is absolutely hilarious, especially the music and lyrics....🤣🤣 I had to share it with friends.......🤣🤣and the rocket analogy was priceless....🤣🤣
fire scienz n sick beats! 🤘🔬🎵
That elephant would certainly get a surprise giving birth to a Wooly Mammoth....🤣🤣
Very cool
Lets be honest, Thomas Edison negated the entire argument for daylight savings ages ago.
Not only should we not have DST, we should not have timezones. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with everyone just using UTC. Timezones and DST are the chronological equivalent of cookies. In the US they are cookies. In the UK they are biscuits. In Italy they are biscotti. Regardless of what name they have, they’re basically all fundamentally the same.
I saw this comment and was prepared to argue it was nonsense ... but honestly I can't. Ages ago we should have just accustomed ourselves to the idea that people in London woke up at 6am and I'd wake up at noon here in CST. Especially now with digital clocks tied to "the network" there's no reason to deal with time zones. Hell, China doesn't and they haven't fallen off the earth.
Lol, these drops are for what... the one day? You only included the duration for the last effect. The fact that you haven't researched the benefits shows that this wasn't "science".
Standard time all year! Just like it was for millennia, before the government had to f with it.
daylight savings should be permanent i dont care what you say i like the extended summertime hours after work
Three unscientific arguments against daylight saving time: 1) I hate it. 2) Everyone I ever met in my entire life hates it. 3) No one would complain if we stopped it.
Unfortunately, lots of people would complain about losing light at night. Yet they don't care about the clock changing madness
So, you want it to be light at 4 am in summer? I reject you arguments. It’s not that hard.
Ah, the annual "reasons" for not shifting from standard time to summer time. Personally, I'm all for it, and I'd as soon have light in the evening, than in the early morning. But that's only because of my particular work schedule. As for circadian rhythms, we humans have schedules all over the clock anyhow, so our circadian rhythms are completely randomized, whatever the clock says. Probably livestock farmers are the only ones truly affected by the time flipping because their livestock feeding, milking schedules are being minded by the animals, who don't go by a clock. That said, even the animals quickly adjust - LOL!
I am all for more daylight at the end of the workday year-round. Better for kids after school activities, etc. But I'm not a morning person so...
There's no modern purpose to continuing turning the clocks forward and ahead twice a year! It's from WWI! The government is stupid and refuses to change things - the fact that DST is still being mandated proves how stupid, slow, and inflexible our government is.
