How do you like this quad? What are the ups and downs? I’ve been looking at one and I’m just trying to figure out if there good or not… kinda skeptical about the floorboards
Can’t go wrong with a grizzly they are one of the most classic atvs in my opinion. Just a overall good bike it will get you from point a to point b with no problems. As far as performance goes nothing compares to can am but they are still great bikes highly recommend!

yes sir New Mexico born and raised! I ride the local Tijeras trails I find them to be pretty good just loosen your shocks or it'll be a bumpy ride to say the least. thanks for watching !
You definitely need mud tires and a snorkel if you what to go that deep and it doesn’t matter if you let go of the throttle when your exhaust is underwater most quads idol underwater perfectly fine

Electric start went out still have to replace it. Trusty pull start always works

@@jheysonfarfan2539 The modern bikes have such good cooling systems you can drive pretty much drive till you run out of gas take it easy and you can go super far.
Don’t get a Xmr just get some bigger and meatier tires for it

That atv needs its valves adjusted badly
yeah i got the same machine with over 16,000 miles its a '99 it was idling the other and stalled and now wont start but shes been puffing blue smoke for years so i think im gonna pull the motor out and see if i can find a forged rod and piston and up the compression a bit, throw some cams in it and an exhaust and see if i can make it like 50-60 horse and actually do wheelies lmao
Yeah it’s just more of a beater quad for me it’s seen better days for sure but the older grizzlys are still always super reliable she’s still going strong! Ever since I went can am there was no turning back lol thanks for watching!
I’ve experienced all those same things I’m pry just gonna ride the bike and keep putting oil till it dies I would rather get a new quad with that chunk of cash rather than fixing my oldie but there are great bikes I would def build it back to mint condition if you love the bike! I bought a 2020 570 dps and I LOVE it everytime I go out and rip... perfect fit for me even though I do want a sport quad also so I can tear up an MX track too. BTW have you done the fan mod? Simply install a switch for your rad fan so you can run it also with all that sand and dust hope you have a prefilter and a KM filter with a prefilter dust cover (they have em on amazon very reasonable.)

clean the rad, flush your coolant system. make sure your fan is working. bleed air from the system.

I personally enjoy listening to the whistle of the engine with the stock exhaust. has a nice tone 👌🏻. An aftermarket exhaust would sound amazing though.

David H do you know what he talking about I have 2020 outlander XTP bro 1000 CC I know what I’m talking about the hell gear box engage with Drive belts to Air CVT duct hose on the top . When the bike flip over the water will go throwing the belt that’s why you heard that slippery sound .
