Great question 😍 It seems that everyone loves to eat bad eggs except us 🤣 If it hasn't eggsploded, then we feed them to the pigs and our livestock guardian dog (LGD.) I rinsed out the incubator and all the dogs came over to eat anything on the ground that didn't rinse away or soak in...I don't like our inside dogs eating anything abnormal as they will just gassify it 🥴

Not yet, she's been sitting about a week now, so 3 more to go, if it hatches at all.

Hi Don 😁 yeah I agree, the smell was horrible 😷 As for the fertility rate, we think the heat, over 100 F down here plays a part, the layers are still youngish and the rooster is HeyHey, the chicken that was ADR... Soo hes still learning? The duck eggs, again heat, chicken harassment and cage rearranging .

They sure are! I'm sorry about that. I'm trying to stop doing that...

🎉Firsties🎉Yay! Thank you my friend! Onward and upward😂 were only interested in expanding our Khaki Campbell ducks and Ayam Cemani chickens until we flock out around 20 hens and 10 girl ducks. That way we get about 3 dozen eggs a day.

We believe that when that are a few days old you can look at the feathers on the wings. Pullets(non laying young hen) will have 2 rows of feathers on the wings and Roo's will have one row.

@@joangreene-ue4lm Yay! We are so happy to have more of these amazingly beautiful chickens. They don't lay as much as the other chickens so we would like a few more hens...plus we are playing with genetics now to try to breed the darkest chickens 😍😘
