Rest Aria played this way really shows how much beauty was hiding just under the strange tones in the Residents early albums... Those first 5 albums, there is nothing that sounds like those.

Thanks for uploading this. It brings back great memories. I'm pretty sure I was at the Halloween concert that year but the day before. On that night Danny mentioned that it was supposed to rain. I wish I could have gone for both nights because it looks like they played different songs. Back then the tickets were $20.00 with Ticketmaster only getting like $2.50. Oh how times have changed with concerts.

I’ll never forget this show. I took my first girlfriend to the Kabuki and we got to the window and it was sold out. There were dudes scalping tickets but we just figured we were out of luck. Then a woman came up to us and asked us if we were going to the show. We told her we couldn’t get tickets, and she goes “here” and hands us two tickets! I bought a t-shirt from that show which I wore for about 10 years before it died. After the show my girlfriend said, “What the hell was that?!?”

These dudes are such an inspiration to me fucking legends no one would listen to them back in the day about De-Evolution way more then just tight kick ass music and the important sounds of things falling apart an art band, pop culture icons men with a mission warning the world and great cool guys that Jerry himself even said younger dudes now would make a better Devo and he dared them to go out on do it and continue the aesthetic! Damn good remaster waited for something like this a long time with this much appreciated!!!!!!

Wish I knew about going to shows like this when I was 14. I loved that album so much, but it never occurred to me to get my folks to take me. I did get them to take me to see Parliament/Funkadelic at the Oakland Coliseum which was unforgettable!!! I was too young and naive to know what that awful weed smell was, and the show lasted past my bedtime so I was so sleepy... Anyway, Thanks for this!!!!!
