Hi .. i had an interview yesterday for my k-1 visa and i got a 221g with white slip with some of the documents that they require for the further process.. So what does mean ? Do they approve my case after i submit it? I'm really so confused so please respond 😊

i got 221g for B1/B2 visa its been 14 months i had submitted what documents they asked me on 221g white slip to send on given email, still there is no clue no info or updates i do follow up 4 times but same response that they dont know about timeline and its still in refused state

Hi , I am on h4 and I received 221g 6:12 and they asked to submit PA visa copy , I already did it but sent back again with 221g slip .. he is in USA write now but for 2 years he took a break and was on h4 and came to india . His visa stamping is h4 - I have submitted Present and expired i797 copy now .. and was planning to send his payslip and utility bills and i129 in email do you think it is a right process please help ..

Hello, for the first time when you received 221 g to submit photographs , did they send you the passport back along with the 221 g letter to the VAC or did they contacted you via email?

Hello sir my b1/b2 visa interview is on 20jan in k.s.a after interview officer approved my visa and kept my passport when I checked my visa status was approved but not issued after 3mounths my visa status was changed from approved to refused on25 April i received email they need additional information i submitted then another email fill up ds5535 form i submit but on 1 jun they return my passport with pink slip 221g that your visa is refused for Administrative process you need to wait no additional information needed dates are changing 4 times last update on 16 November status was changed from refused to Administrative process almost i m waiting 10 months ago i will get visa? who long it will take?

1 week ago , i had my interview, they didn't ask much questions and they took my passport and handed over the yellow slip with mentioning Admin Processing. Now in visa status portal, it still shows as Refused. Am worried on this. can anyone suggest or comment ?

Today i received 221 g White slip for h1b. But she just did tick 1st check box which is "Additional administrative processing" thats it. No other check boxes in the form selected . I don't find any tickes for specific documents to be submitted. Can you please help in telling ehat does it mean ?

Hi Himanshu, thanks for the clear explanation.I attended the h1 interview in the Chennai consulate 2 days back along with h4 dependants(wife + 2 kids). as i m selected by an employer to work in his location in Houston and the client is not decided yet, i couldn't provide the client letter when sought by VO. no 221g form given to me and passport is given back, but told to wait for an admin process orally and asked me to keep an eye on email inbox. once the case is positive you need to provide your passports is what said to me.....is it normal?

Hi I got 221g white slip under k1 visa. But there is nothing mention like to submit additional documents or anything like. It is write as follows: You case is under administrative processing, we will contact you when the administrative processing will be completed. When you contacted present this letter ( 221g white slip) and your passport to the documents drop-off location near you( nearest location has been given in uswebsite. Thats all was wriiten in that white slip. I dont know what to do.. I'm very dipress and sad. Please help me with this, what to do next and what to expect? 🙏

Hi sir I applied for j1 visa and my interview was on 16th May 2023 but the officer gave me 221(g) yellow slip in which he asked me to submit new DS 2019 so I submitted along with my passport but they sent all the documents along with the same 221(g) letter which I receive during the interview and I am very confuse what to do please help me sir

I have received 221g yellow slip and I have applied for j1 visa. Submit my documents on 18 may 2023 on 19 may 2023 it changed in administrative processing after how many days can I received my passport 😮

i got 221g for h4 , 221g says appear in for an interview n fingerprint in 221g interview date is mention has 2 may 2023 i have my son who is US citizen n he is losing school 6 year old , is their anyway i can expedite the interview date instead of waiting till 2nd may
