Kodi
Today I was feeling quite inspired, so I decided to create some homemade music. Basically using things available in the house: My guitar of course, a can of rice, a mic, and a camera to record myself with it.
This song is a Prayer by The Báb popularly known as "Remover of Difficulties". This is a Chichewa translation of the prayer.
CHEWA:
Kodi palinso wina,
Wochotsa masawutso
Kupatula Mulungu!
Nenani; Atamandike Mulungu!
Onse ndi anchito Ake,
ndipo onse akhala mu ulamuliro Wake!
ENGLISH:
Is there any remover of difficulties
save God!
Say: Praised be God
He is God!
All are His servants
And all abide by His bidding!

is it normal for these flashes to only flash with the mirror, but not on live view mode?
@shmuelmaloof4448 I've observed that too. They tend to do that a lot.
I Had to subscribe for the good history
@jimjnr1595 Welcome home Jim
Your argument holds too little water. Luhya in Bukusu means the front of homestead. Luhyas were identified on ground that they lived in homesteads with occational gathering in front of the homesteads
@@ngichabeacmtcke We are ranking about Maragolis here. You can talk about Bukusus. History is not homogeneous.
Interesting. I have followed the impeachment quite closely and you can tell that the silence from the top Boss is very loud on who is promoting the list whole impeachment saga.
Does Tt600 work on 80d canon?
@@iKhayelihleMedia It's a universal flash. Am sure it would be compatible.
Hey bro, do you know how to Reset this flash
Someone has said this Mzee passed on. It is very sad that we have lost a rich undocumented history of the maragoli people of the Luhya sub tribe. I cry in my heart and wonder, what happened to our history research departments at our universities? Western and Nyanza regions are blessed with well funded universities that can play a crucial role to collect data, preserve, and disseminate for posterity. Or just write historical books. Hon. James Osogo tried by writing a little about the history of the Luhya people which perspectively appeared shallow. It mentioned maragoli people, and their closely related kisii and suba in Nyanza.
wow thanks for this sharing this :) , im thinking about taking the road from nairobi to lusaka, when arriving at nairobi airport, which direction or bus terminal would be best to use?
Wow such good insights ❤
You guys made it happen. 🎉❤
Honestly I have seen the difference between Zambia and Tanzania and also Kenya. thanks a million for sharing this knowledge. Roughly how much do I need to travel from Zambia to Nairobi Kenya and return?
You are most welcome dear @Diclfoundation7612 . At the time it only cost me a total of 100 dollars 💸 to get to Nairobi. Now I think due to inflation just give it another 50 dollars to make it 150 and you should be fine. Total of 250 USD should do for the trip to and from Nairobi.
❤❤
🥰💞💕
It gives me insight of what education endeavours means.
Glad to hear that, Maggy.
Rushia means up not north
You're only struggling to present the historical facts because you lack anthropological support. people are not only classified as one without expedite research. The term luhya originally come from a verb oluyia meaning an amblicode (olulela) connection . For example we luhya can refer to Nandi as oluyia of kalenjin a people who belongs to Kalenjin. The luhya attached to one another by custom and culture embressed this term Oluyia lwanje to differentiate themselves from Abanandi,Abanyolo Abasuma and Abasebe (Masai)whom they regarded them to be enemies (Abasuku)and rivalry. Though Maragolis are very close to Abaganda . of Uganda many of the Mulembe subclan that forms Luhya came from Buganda , Busoga ,Masaba because of interlacustrian interruction and assimilation . So luyhia is a tribe.
We are saying luhya.
Thank you bro
That sound track is BRUTAL!!! Totally messed up an otherwise awesome video.
Ha ha ha ha! You are very observant. The sound track was slowed down
You are in Slave 1 mode :-)
Kindly how can I get your contact. I'm in Nairobi with an alto sax but need to be taught like now now.
Wait a freakin minute fam. We have gold in our father's land? To this day? Why didn't you ask your dad why people don't mine that gold?
I am from Uganda but agree with you. The Morden politicians have used it creat tribally based political blocks. Please clarify to me the years of the Bukusu rebellion. Was that before the redemarcation of borders of uganda and Kenya about 1924?

Very painful indeed. These are some of the unfortunate effects of the decisions of our thoughtless political class.

Andimi did not have any child in the cave, we are being told he was having his grown kids.i dont believe this old man ,he is not saying the truth, dont believe his story.Mulogoli did not have 4 girls .please he doest know that story very well.

Am happy to hear that Mike.
Thereis no tribe kwon has luhyia insted it is politica unated to unity diferent small tribe to form the larger big tribe known us luhya for the benefit of politicians
Ivisusu is antelopes not butterflies though they share names in maragoli but one is an insect the other is an animal.
whats the background music???
It's a drum and jingle beat I made myself and then just slowed the tempo down.

A treasure of great value. Thank you to whoever recorded this interview. Do need to use transcript as its hard to hear and understand what is being said in portions of the recording. I lived in many countries in Africa during mid sixties & seventies when one could travel from one country to another over difficult terrain so Mavis's descriptions and her reliance on God was natural to those of us. ESP was acute allowing us to tune in to what actions to take or not take and find those who would help us.
Super glad to hear that, dear Dilly. We caught up with Mavis I her latter years. Unfortunately her voice was so low at the time as she was sickly. We tried to edit to pump up the volume. This is the most we could up it.

Who is Allah u Abbah? Are Bahais christians? Which Bible do they use? Do they celebrate Christmas?
Hi Ronny. Alláh'u'Abhá is an Arabic phrase that basically means "God is the most Glorious". It's used by Bahá'is as greetings whenever they meet. The Bahá'i Faith is an independent religion. Therefore Bahá'is are members of the Bahá'i Faith. Bahá'is use the Kitab-i-Aqdas which is a holy book revealed by Baha’u’lláh the Prophet-Founder of the Bahá'i Faith. Bahá'is do have families that celebrate Christmas. They believe that Jesus Christ is a one of the Manifestations of God. They therefore join their Christians family and friends in commemorating the birth of His Holiness Christ. However, Bahá'is do have their own holidays including the birth of Baha’u’llah which is often celebrated in October. For more detailed information about the Bahá'i Faith and its teachings, kindly visit: Bahai.org
The Bible is a part of Baha'i religious scripture, but in the same way that the Old Testament is a part of Christianity. There are connections, but as another commentator said, it is an independent Abrahamic world religion. It's main purpose, but far from only purpose, is the unity of mankind... both socially and spiritually. Peace be with you.
One assignment i want to give you,go find out why the Maragoli pronounciations are unique or somehow different from other luhya subtribes.I think Maragolis are not luhyas, they are a tribe on its own but closely related to luhya.
Challenge accepted, my brother.
If I understood him He already explained it . That the objective was to form tribal blocks. For political reasons. And the maragoli were placed in the block of Luhya. Like (Luhya block) Kalenjin and mijikenda etc. are also blocks. Today, you hear of the politicians talk of the Mulembe nation.
Beautiful Community and temple!
Beautiful indeed.
Amazing performances by everyone.
