I know right. I am going to the concert with my parents and I feel like they wont like him because of the DJ. My parents are going and are expecting a super chill concert because thats how Joji presents himself through his music, from the stuff I've seen in his earlier concerts, it was reallyyyy weird. Like the freestyles.
@DrMontrays hey I went to his la show last night and it was crazy fun. I don't want to spoil it for you... but it was mostly fine. It's just that his old Filthy Frank persona sometimes comes out and he'll start doing hip thrusts lol. There was a thing in the middle of the show where it kinda turned into a rave for like 20 minutes while he threw merch and signed records. Idk if that's just an la thing tho. But it got reaaaallly loud and bass-y so I would tell your parents to bring earplugs at least. I think you will be fine overall :) he sings great live. But did say bitch a lot ...lol

The 1st time I saw him when he only did NYC & Cali (4 shows) after covid he had a band. SO MUCH BETTER! Saw him on the smithereens tour with the dj and it wasn't even close to as good. Just told my husband I got us tics for Oct 29th, the 1st thing he asked is "is he using the DJ still?". The band is much better. Anyone who saw THE FINALE coastal tour knows. I really hope he isn't doing the same goofs and gafs verbatim.
