Hello is there any data about comparison between hotmix and warmmix for this project in 2022? Is there any disadvantage observed of warmmix after 12 years?
If any of those columns are damaged and need repair, MoTubes shown in this video is the best and fastest way to repair them. th-cam.com/video/SjV45DQmq8k/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for this video! Im doing a paper/presentation on sulfate heaving, and this video helped me understand what heaving is
Is it ever the case that it is decided to include the top 1-2in of subgrade in the stabilization? Maybe not necessarily including it in the reclamation, but setting the reclaimed material to the side, and then stabilizing and re-compacing the subgrade, and then doing the rest of the work normally? I guess, if there is an underlying subgrade issue, the reclamation won't necessarily repair without doing this kind of work.
What is called that part from material is discharging from truck?
HI , my friend , my I have you email

Sliced :(
They won't talk about what it does to motorcycle riders!

How is the mechanism that these carbon fiber increase the shear strength ?
thanks for your information!

Has anybody seen the new "stoppingguard.com"? I think there lies your solution!
Yunus perhaps you should investigate the material properties of CFRP products before stating its 'too weak'. on average, UTS is ~4-6 times higher than steel... hence you need such a thin layer for wraps and small cross sections for NSM rods and laminates. 50% external strengthening of the original design load with CRFP to cater for increased industry demand is a dangerous practice - vandalism, fire etc damage to CRFP should be considered, I.e. without carbon fibre, structure should still be able to withstand DL + factored current LL. great idea using the spike anchors, are the horizontal / longitudinal layers of sheet required..?
valuable information thanks
Eye protection?!

Washington State DOT, CALTRANS, Maine DOT and Iowa DOT top environmentally- performing highway systems at present. Texas' a Bottom-Ten "worst" government for least clean public spaces (includes roadway litter removal maintenance), poorest environmental conduct, in current American State Litter Scorecard. Houston, Dallas on TRAVEL+LEISURE's "America's Ditiest Cities" list. Rick Perry rated one of poorest state leaders for Gubernatorial Environmental Responsibility Reputation by Greenopia.
what about the people on motorcycles? they would be sliced in two.
According to trrjournalonline.trb.org/doi/10.3141/2262-14, these cable barriers are about as safe for motorcyclists as W-beam guardrails, and less safe than concrete barriers. (And presumably safer than no barrier.)
I spent 20 years working the highway responding to crashes and never saw a motorcyclist killed or even seriously injured by a cable barrier hit. On one of our local highways we went from averaging 12 fatal or serious injury median crossover accidents annually pre cable to zero after cable install for the first 5 years. Do the math, that's a lot of benefit, cable barriers work. Most light vehicles drive away from a cable hit that would have been a roll over, ejection or head on collision. The proven benefit of cable barrier far out weighs any down side.
