Thank you so much for you latest series. I have been able to learn so much from you, because you present complex in a way that helps me, a rank newb, comprehend. For Ex..., casually mentioning the scale issue...who does that? And yes, you nailed the process (of rage googling), because I go through that, regularly (and menthol-y). So until you're better paid, but at this point, I'd probably buy anything from you, cuz I relate, and you proved to me in this world, the best teacher is the one that treats imperative information, not like an unmentionable trade secret, but an imperative that should simply be mentioned, casually, with a wry imperative that brings such info into focus for a one celled Houdini zygote, like my self. So, a waste can here, a .01 there, I'm beginning to feel like a may not need to deport myself from this multivesre of x_ops, after all. You've made an internet fan boy of me, and I've just typed and confessed way too much in public, but what the hell, a little harmless genuflecting never hurt anyone, especially when they deserve it. So I'm sure, along with every subscriber you have, and ever will, don't stop here, or now, because hungry birdies in the nest could care less about what they put their mommies and daddies through, they only want more ;-) (so all of that aside, sincerely, THANK YOU 10,000 times!).

Not sure if I can state it exactly like that, but I have two notes in my notebook on the relation of groups and attributes in houdini that helped me: 1) When looking at the spreadsheet, groups can also be described as an attribute with a group name and boolean datatype. 2) If using attributes to create e.g. noise and fallofs, you can use the methods you showed in this video to create group selection based on attribute values, e.g by writing @attribute > 0.5. I found those two insights helpful to connect some concepts
