Ah shoot, great catch, Walter! Episodes 240 and 241 are supposed to be Jonathan's interview split into two shorter episodes (~45mins each) but I think we ended up uploading the entire interview for both episodes inadvertently. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi Mehrban. Hope alls well with you. Do you know if Nick no longer has his site that is mentioned several times in the video called “maximumtennis.com”? I found a site called Savianotennis.com. Maybe he just the name of his site since this video? As a coach I am just trying to learn more from Nick. Thanks for this great content!

Focusing on what matters most Is key vs all the distractions . The issue is you need to self examine and prioritize what truly matters in life and harmonize the rest . Be honest with yourself as well , based on your circumstances or you will mainly be wasting your time . More distractions bring you down .

Pickelball is useful to train small childreen tennis and for net volley techniques in tennis . It also continues the serve volley net game . When you put pickelball lines on a tennis court , who wants to play on it and confuse the eyes . A match is not truly possible with clarity . The excuse made by towns is no one is using it , but this is the reason why . If you play with someone better or just under you , you and the other person will push themselves and others further , back and forth . This makes both people better . Fan week is free at the U.S open and I am in long island .

Trust no bag for durability. Chinese materials are not durable with these bags and with Dunlops bags . Geau bags checked in will rip at seams and zipper pulls . See functional tennis with the gear bag . You are better off with a dunlop cx long bag , which will compartmentalize as well . Get a bag with no tennis brand name on it in a back pack , in order to optimize its use and space .

It is nice to see mister Tong being real and honest here . I have more respect for him now , when he discusses his workload and history . He needs to be more authentic like this on his own show , but he needs to interact with the people that give info that he requests from the audience . His hours are the biggest issue apparently . Every buisness that sends something free to him or to advertise , is his friend .

Thanks for the enjoyable discussion! I guess I should stop hitting drop shots in doubles :) I agree mental game is important. I would be curious on how players adjust from being the big fish to all of sudden being an "ordinary" player on your college team? On an amateur level, this is like being a 3.5 who's teams go to Sectionals and you're always recruited to play, and then you get bumped to 4.0... As for anxiety, what I've found helped was a video called 18 second cure or something like that PLUS breathing through the nose. Finally, lot of athletes prefer to have a short term memory. A coach needs to remember what happened stroke by stroke to find patterns and develop strategies, but the player doesn't need to think that he missed the overhead or double faulted last breakpoint. So it's understandable that juniors have trouble replaying the point.

I am amazed by your video content but this breaks my heart.... Hey mehrban, Your big fan here, being subscribed to you from past 2023 years, I really must say you post awesome stuff, love it and I want to see you on top! But as a viewer and fan, it saddens me that your videos are not getting enough views and reaching wider audience. Here is a quick FREE suggestion: ☑ Most important thing in a video is thumbnail and if enough people are not clicking on it then sadly despite having good content, TH-cam won't promote it! (Harsh reality) If your CTR is less than 5% then you may have a problem with thumbnails! you content must have awesome graphics in video to amaze audience Must have interesting intro so audience stick to there video How do I know? Cause I edit irresistible thumbnails for creators just like you, that are guaranteed to have a CTR of 7% or more, Dislike So if you think you need help with editing, let me know. I'd be happy to work with you! Very unfortunate to have someone on this podcast claiming he has data that was taken directly from our digital course Singles Shot and Court Position that was released on February 5th 2019. Almost 21 months before “how to tennis” was released. Our 3D analysis videos were released in April of 2019 on TH-cam. Sounds like Beau was a viewer like many other coaches who subscribe to and buy our content. m.th-cam.com/video/OtslzFmFnM0/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUSVGVubmlzIDNkIGFuYWx5c2lz -Jason Frausto
