    G'day Ted your right about the demonic activity around us, I'm always reminded the Devil is like a roaring lion waiting to devour us because we're children of the living God that has rescued us from the sin nature. I'd like to know your views on Christ return and how close is it also why believers pay little attention to the lost souls and family that are on the road to HELL?

    • @dailyofficebythenarrowpath
      @dailyofficebythenarrowpath 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Ken, thanks for commenting. I think all three of your points are connected. I think we are living in the point of the war where the final, defining battle has been fought and won, and now the last bits of the enemy forces are being mopped up. Christ's return could be at any moment, but I think we have a bit more of human history to go. I think the prophecies point to things getting better and better until Christ's return. So I am trying to be ready for a return at any moment, but preparing for the future by adding to the spiritual wealth for later generations to draw upon (hence the theme of The Sword And The Trowel). I wonder if our lack of concern for friends and family might be a lack of concern for ourselves? Secular philosophy has done such a good job scorning the idea of a literal hell that this scorn has seeped into Christian culture? I'm not entirely sure about this one, but I think it is definitely something that a revival would fix.

      If God is raising us as his children, it seems like he wants us to be men of character. @@dailyofficebythenarrowpath In Islam, Father, we are considered to be on the side of Jesus by default. We’re waiting for his second coming. With all due respect.

    • @dailyofficebythenarrowpath
      @dailyofficebythenarrowpath 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My friend, with Jesus, there is no "by default". Jesus says we have two paths ahead of us. One path is wide and easy, and it leads to hell. The other path is narrow and difficult, and leads to life. To be a disciple of Jesus is difficult, but He gives us the grace necessary to walk the narrow path. The worst thing we can do is to assume that Jesus will save us "by default". Don't take my word for it: read Jesus' words for yourself.

    • @zareenwilhelm5811
      @zareenwilhelm5811 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dailyofficebythenarrowpath oh my apologies for the misunderstanding - Jesus does not save anyone in Islam, in that manner. In Islam, we all answer for our own actions. We are expecting his return, but we are also not expecting that kind of defense strategy: we love Jesus and will fight on his side in the end days, but he will not save us from the things we accrue. We have to bite bullets, Father. We love him and are waiting for him. We love Christians too because they are our brother and sisters who we will see in heaven. But Islam is a heavily individualized religion (most, I realized, do not understand this). The individual will always be considered over the groups to which they belong. That’s why there is no concept like a collective absolution of all sins - this concept does not exist. With all due respect. 🙏

    • @dailyofficebythenarrowpath
      @dailyofficebythenarrowpath 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If we must answer for our own actions, then we all deserve death. God is holy and perfect - how could we mere creatures possibly atone for our sins? And yet, Jesus, who is God, gave His life to pay the debt we owe by our sins. With all due respect, sister, Muslims and Christians are only brothers and sisters in the sense that we all bear the image of God. But if we trust in Jesus as our Lord and our God, and as our sufficient and atoning sacrifice for sins, then we become adopted brothers and sisters of Jesus, as adopted children of God. It all comes down to the cross on which Jesus died, and the empty tomb He left behind when He rose from the dead. Indeed, He is calling you right now: He is standing at the door of your heart and He is knocking.

    Father, many rituals outside of Abrahamic religion utilize blood. I’m under the impression they are all Satanic rituals. As a Moslem I pray 5x per day, but as a female, I’m not allowed to do that for a few days, every month. Even God wants no messages from me when I bleed. I love Jesus, but I’m not allowed to believe that anyone will pay for my sins except for me. Just thinking out - have a great day, Father. Amen. 🙏

    • @dailyofficebythenarrowpath
      @dailyofficebythenarrowpath 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Jesus shed His blood so that you don't have to pay for your sins. At the final judgement, there will be two types of people: those who accept the gift of Jesus' sacrifice on their behalf, and those who pay for their own sins. God offers this free gift of Jesus' blood because He loves us so much. My dear friend, do not burden yourself with your sins: take the free gift of forgiveness in Jesus which is offered before you. Jesus' blood nullifies the need for any more blood rituals - including the rituals concerning the blood of women in their natural function. If you are washed in Jesus' blood, nothing can make you unclean. Because Jesus' blood is the very blood of God - perfect and pure and able to work the greatest of miracles, which is the forgiveness of human sin and resurrection into new life.
