I have run a YM347a and a YM359a extensively, I sold off my Kubota L4600 and bought a 359 for myself. the Yanmar is a rock solid machine. I consider it an upgrade from green or orange.

You should have compared a 2850M to the yanmar. That would have been apples to apples.

there is no real comparison here. the 1025R is superior in every single aspect other than price. it's outrageously expensive, but that's literally the only thing you can say that even creates an opening for these other brands. deere has several questionable models, but the 1025R is not one of them.lol

Terrible review man.. you were wrong on so many things. You look uneducated aint nobody gonna buy from you if you dont know the facts about the machines.

I’ve had JD 1025R since spring 2015. It serves as full time lawn mower AND all other duties. For lawn mowing the loader EASILY comes off so that the ride is much smoother and it steers light and smooth. If I had to hassle with removing the loader on another brand I’d never mow with it. Mowing with loader on is fine but the ride is rough. The JD basically converts from nice lawn mower to utility tractor in minuets. Box blade, bush hog, plow garden, mini dozer, everything. If I had to deal with other brand where it’s difficult to remove loader and deck then I’d just have to have a 2nd machine for mowing. The JD makes both duties smooth and enjoyable with ease

JD became like Harley Davidson bikes, ppl are crazy about tjem, pay fortune for them, still a POS, mechanicaly. Parts aren't chiep, if you want ad a implement, got go back to JD. I love the mower deck conections and tje color, but it's. JD and Toro became CCP machines.

About the New Holland 25s? Just look at one, new. JD 1025r used a 8"scoop on the BH, others manufactures, same size tractors uses 12" scoop. Not a crazy size difference, but 8" scoop? 12" is already a hand shovel sizes 😂

The Deere is running a whole lot higher RPM if that is really at idle.

I just don't get the rebel. So the elite offers front rubber bushings. Step up to the maverick and get rear bushings as well. Next is the maverick hd that gets you a full suspension seat as well as the bushings. But the if you step up to the maverick you have just the seat and a rigid frame. Why? Why would this upgrade lose the things that mkae ride quality possible. Now i know the rebel is the cheapest mower that steps up to the larger platform. And has all the stats of a full commercial mower. Is that the point? A cheap commercial option? Because as someone who is looking at buying a bad boy in the next month, i just can't bring myself to understand why i should consider it. The Maverick HD and rouge are the ones i am kind of trying to decide between but i have found two dealers trying to get rid of rebels at a price only a few hundred dollars above the maverick HD. Hope someone can explain this to me.

i’m looking at upgrading to the Rebel X, how much of a improvement and faster is it then the dixie chopper blackhawk 48”, thats what i currently have and saw you had those in the showroom also.

At 540 rpm at the pto, John deere use 0.9litres at 3200 rpm with 15hp at the pto and Massey GC 1705 1.1 litre at 2600 rpm and close to 19hp on the pto, THAT'S it!

Noticed he didn't give the price on the Dixie Chopper, anywho picked up a Bad boy MZ Magnum three weeks ago, less than 8 hours and the briggs engine is already down. Very frustrating because I really do like the machine, the transmission is making noises two until it warms up.

My Dixie chopper magnum 2460 Kawasaki fs730v has been the worst mower ive ever owned its never lasted a whole cutting season with out a major break down the mower cuts like crap and breaks every single year super aggravated now its down it ran out of gas.. i filled it up and now its smoking wont move and i cant figure it out

It does have EGR. It has a DIesel Oxidation Catalyst, DOC. Still a lot better than the competition which has DPF, and Regen. Some skid steers such as JCB have the same emission system as this tractor.

Just recently paid off my kubota b2650 with factory cab heat and ac. Never been in the shop for any issues. In my opinion a compact tractor is far better than a subcompact any day. Had the jd 1025r and it was a piece of junk.

A friend of mine bought a Bad Boy and had trans problems in a short time. He traded it for a JD. My son on the other hand has a Dixie Chopper and has never had a problem with it.

I can not speak for Bad Boy but I did own a Dixie Chopper and it was the worst commercial mower I have used hands down. The worst part was getting Dixie Chopper to honor the repairs was like pulling teeth. There were about twelve issues with the mower about ten in warranty and two out of warranty. In my business I have used Exmark, Dixon, Husqvarna, Scag, Grasshopper and Dixie Chopper was the worst.

I have the Dixie Chopper Blackhawk 54". I've been really enjoying it. I do like the Parker transmissions, although they are a little sensitive. It will pick the front tires up if you're not carful. The FS Kawasaki so far has been great.

Why would anyone waste there money on a backhoe for these little tractors ? I mean I guess I could see your point if you was at the beach or in the desert .

Sad thing is neither one of these models will run a belly mower. This is the problem I have, I want this size tractor with a belly mower and there are not many options for that on the market without going to a smaller tractor....

I almost bought a Scag Liberty Z. It’s way better built than any of the residential mowers out there. Yea it’s more money $5,500 but you get what you pay for I upgraded to a Patriot model for a little more just to get a suspension seat I did a lot of research and there’s a reason Scag is on top for commercial mowers
