Those handfuls are so beautiful! I'd have such a hard time leaving! I'm with Mommy Runs It, lol, beachcombing/sea glass/treasure hunting is so much fun! The RUSH when you find something glittery and colorful and smooth is better than drugs.
William Adams was able to send money to England, to his wife, and letters. He was never able to return to England.
It’s such an amazing story. In my heart I wish he was able to return or bring his family.
Idle death gamble
🚬
I would swear those first few streets, and more of this area actually, looked like the exact street scenes from the "Little Kitty Big City" video game! What a beautiful area!
We love these lesser known back alley neighborhoods in Japan. Be sure to check out my shotengai playlist and consider subscribing.
I have tried to go to their application page. i can see the calendar but cannot click on it to choose the day. how could you book that?
Only the color coded calendar days are available. If the day on the calendar is not color coded, then you will not be able to select it. Some months, they have almost no availability, or it has already been reserved
Thanks for the reply!
Good luck. Unfortunately, they don't have a lot of availability, and I've seen a note befote that there's several weeks with NO availability due to factory needs.
I eventually booked it. I feel so lucky. Thanks a lot mate!
Great news! One of the conditions is that you bring a translator if you don't speak Japanese. There should have been a spot on the reservation screen to identify them.
what a beautifully shot video! you really captured the essence of that hike. but honestly, while it looks stunning, i wonder if the popularity of these trails is making them too crowded? sometimes it feels like the beauty gets lost in the sheer number of people you encounter. what do you think?
Because this location is a little further away from tokyo and lesser known, it is not nearly as crowded as other hiking spots that are closer to tokyo. It was very secluded out on the trail
THE MEMES ARE TRUE
Which one? I don’t know it
@@travelformortals3077 the one where sand turns to glass at 3000° F and then the beach turns to glass because of the Atomic Bomb
The airport is pretty far from the blast zone. The glass is pulverized recycled glass from a site nearby
The drink house ukon no chikara turmeric tonic
KOMPAI!
🧐☝🏿😝☝🏿🎯🔍🔥! I had no idea the Japanese were more weird than they already are ! Silly ceremony !!
It's actually pretty cool. The Japanese are certainly less modest about sexuality in some ways and that's not a bad thing.

Thanks so much for doing this. I am staying in Yokohama and would love to check this out but saw conflicting things online. I have an IDL and might just hire a car for a day to be on the safe side!
Glad this helped. Getting an inexpensive rental for the day is the best option compared to the folks gouging for a tour. Be sure you get the ETC card option if available, otherwise you pay the fixed rate which is about 2000 yen
Be sure to check out video on the Nissan Engine museum and Nissan HQ, both in Yokohama
which location of uniqlo did you go to? and what was the turnaround time for this?
Machida Tokyo. It took about 10 days.
The point of this drink is to avoid hangovers not taste good....😂
Very cool video Victor! Enjoy keeping up with the adventures.
Thank you Dan!
So..works? seems ok!
It works
That was so cool. Watching them bring the kite back in was like watching them wrestle a dragon out of the sky! Who knew they could get so big!? So cool. What a neat experience.
We were really lucky to get to participate in making and flying these giant kites
th-cam.com/video/cFH5JgyZK1I/w-d-xo.html
That was really neat to watch. I can't imagine doing that as a single family, let alone harvesting and resowing every year. Great job!
Thanks for watching. That agrarian lifestyle would be very difficult.
Fascinating Person. Suffered so much on a 19 month journey across the world to be one of a few survivors of a 100 man crew, to be greeted warmly and given a nice life in Japan by it's Shogun. The fact he actually became a Samurai rather than being mere speculation like with other historical figures is testament to his impact on Japan. He served Tokugawa well.
It's an amazing story.
Nice video Thank you !!
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it
Cool❤
I was wondering if you had any good tips for antique hunting?? I'm going to Japan in 2 weeks
Shrine and antique sales AWAY from central Tokyo for good deals.
Does that have the Bonodori Obon dance? or is that another festival?
No Bon dance that we saw at this festival; however, I do know that the Bon dance will happen at festivals other than Obon
Wow. I am part Japanese and the way you dress embarrasses everyone around you (they are too polite to call you out) and reflects on your country. It is okay for a festival celebrating anime, but dude dress like an adult.
Hello Mr. jinpimp. My fully Japanese employees and colleagues hold a different opinion. Outside of my professional setting they tell me no problem. They agreed with my wife to skip the fondoshi and happi for casual Friday. Thanks for stopping by though. Any favorite shrine or antique sales that you've been to and like in Japan?
Who cares how he dresses? It's his life?
@@travelformortals3077 of course, you pay them lol
Wow nice love it.
Thank you! 😊
Besides himeji, I think this one was my favorite castle when I went. The town is really small and gives you the time to visit other places in Ueno. The weapon museum inside the castle is incredible.
Do you remember Himeji Castle smelling like feet? No lie, it smells like feet (not in a good way) and the smell got stronger as one climbed up.
For the uninitiated, why would anyone want to go to a parking lot?
It’s the largest and coolest unorganized car meet in the world!
No! do not take the thing off your head!
I have to wear it when it’s sold or my head will freeze
I like your music dude...I always stay til the end to hear it get louder! Fun seeing Japan.
Thanks. I’ve been struggling with music selection in the videos.
Is the entire bottle to be had in one go or over a period of time?
I usually drink it in 2-3 sips. It’s only 100ml
Is the entire bottle to be had in one go or over a period of time?
Usually consumed in once opened. It’s carbonated, so it would go flat if you tried to save after opening
@@travelformortals3077 ah! Got it! Is there anything you recommend for a bad throat and cold?
Just lovely! Thank you for taking the Time to shoot and share this with us, well done! ⛩🗻🍜🍣
Thank you!
Were you eating a chocolate ice cream cone before you made this video?
It's a scab from my face being smashed. It was only 1D damage. Can't let minor things slow down the adventures.
Ruthless
That looks like a great way for Ghibli fans to make a day trip outside of Tokyo this summer. May I know how long did the entire journey take to go from the first station to the last? Thank you for sharing the details of the eight locations too. Cheers!
It took us about 4 hours at a leisurely pace. We also stopped for lunch. We had a great time.
take the thing off your head
I need it to keep my head warm. I don’t have any hair left!
The price is actually very good for it. At mcds a double quarter pounder meal is 17 something
I don't recall the McDs 1/4 meal costing that much, I always get the Samurai Mac.
I never been try this when I was in Japan last Feb. this year.
Onsen is one of my favorite things about Japan. Now you have an excuse to come back
do you recommend to buy the tickets in advance?
No
I love Japan. Hopefully someday I'll go back to Nagoya
We really have enjoyed our time here!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That was great! I was in Hakone a few months ago but only went to a public onsen. How did you book this private room and onsen at Yuryo? Their website only seems to indicate hourly usage.
We walked in and booked it at the front desk for two hours. You can call in and book if you speak Japanese (I don't 😭)
Doesn't look a think like Yaksonville...FLA!
The 904 is certainly a uniqu place on its own...
Hey travelformortals. I watched the video but I'm still a little confused. What makes this hastumode festival shocking?
They burn up all that lucky stuff!
The road was probably better maintained back in the day, just a suggestion.
Perhaps, but have you seen the wooden shoes they used to wear...
