    Damn I was there recently and ya I agree with what u said about the climbs being weird to start. The grading was different too maybe it was just the altitude that made it hard tho. Nice video also

    New to buldring. Randomly tearing finger muscles sounds scary😬 Do you think it comes from bad gripping, or just over training/climbing too much without enough rest?

    • @TonyClimbs
      @TonyClimbs 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thankfully it was not a finger muscle! It was simply some skin on the finger it heals back pretty quick too! I mainly get them when i climb really hard or the holds are super new and extra grippy.

  • @wesdizz6297
    @wesdizz6297 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Wash it well, and put a bandage with polysporin while you sleep. It will heal good enough in a few days, but you still have to tape it up while climbing until fully healed.

    • @TonyClimbs
      @TonyClimbs 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I also took Friday off to rest it extra well. Thanks for the tips!

    Hi Tony! i just tried the set yesterday and today, and i think your grades are pretty fair. A general observation about the climbing, it seems like moves that need core stability are a little more tricky for you. I don't know what kind of training you do for climbing (besides just climbing) but it might be a good idea to mix in some planks or hanging leg raises. having a more stable core will allow you to keep your feet from popping loose as much on steeper inclines. Keep on climbing! 😊

    • @TonyClimbs
      @TonyClimbs 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Im glad to hear my grades are fair! I dont really do any training for climbing. After reading this comment I have started doing some core exercises. Since that seems to be my weakest part of climbing.

      This gym is one of only 2 gyms I have ever been to that has you climb on top of the boulder and then there is a small area where you can walk down and off of the boulder. Its pretty fun and a little stressful the first time you do it!

    Hey Tony, cool video! May I ask how long you've been climbing? Because I started about 6 months ago and I'm still kinda new to it all. I do love it more and more as I keep going, even though I'm not great at it. What grades would you say you usually climb?

    • @TonyClimbs
      @TonyClimbs หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have been climbing for the last 4 years but I have taken 3 long breaks in between that time. I felt the exact same way as you when I also first started climbing. At this point I think I can confidently climb V2s most V3s and about half of the V4s.

    I climb at SBP pretty regularly, and generally if there are no top markers the top of the wall is the finish. the blue problem you started also finishes at the top of the wall, so i would guess the end sequences are similar. Nice climbs!😊

    • @TonyClimbs

    Awesome climbing dude! I'm gonna go for a session tomorrow at my gym and this got me pumped! Loving the pic-previews, really cool to see you trying harder and harder stuff. My approach to new harder climbs that I can't do in the first few attempts is to really think about what I'm missing (its usually toe/heel hooks for me XD), but the idea is you're thinking about what the climb is trying to 'teach' you, then once you figure it out it becomes a really interesting challenge of actually doing it lol. Great to see you on the wall so often, keep it up!
