Is It Safe To Use Internet During Lightning
Understand the handicap dilemma, but, at 6’8” the lower switches are a pain for my daily life. I even put my door knobs 6 inches higher
This is the best 3 way video I've seen because he explains what he's doing and why....
So it sounds like you put a wire nut termination on the ground wires as a best practice, but not actually required by CEC? And how do you provide a ground to the switches, don't you need two tails there as well?
Grounds to the switches are not required in this province in this current code cycle. Although they were in the last. Tails on grounds for switches need to be a pig tailed wire nut connection for anything over a single gangable or welded box or more than 2 wires entering. Hope this helps.
@conquerallelectrical It does! Thanks a lot!
Glad you brought up the rule about the neutrals at the end. I was thinking the same, this is not practical until 4 wire nmd is available. Thanks for the explanation.
I'm confused about the grounds. Why does it go to the back of the box? What is it doing there in the back of the box? What's the purpose of the grounds anyways? (I know absolutely nothing about electrical)
How to change the program. I just want to heating up during night time.
Is the distance to the bottom, top, or center of the box?
Thats some big loops😯
I didn't know that about lightning.
Bond to the remiaing copper or all the way to the panel?
Doesn’t work… I’ve replaced the battery and now have unplugged it from the ceiling and it’s still beeping. How do I disconnect the wires ? Why would the beep be coming from the ceiling connection??
Thanks for sharing, very helpful.
those electrical ones are a piece of junk whoever invented them needs their butt kicked... I can't even take a d@mn shower with out the d@mn alarm going off... and why would it need to connect to my d@mn devices?? It tell me exactly how many devices I had in the house what the H3LL?!?!?
no wasted time, great content
So I replaced my pressure switch and when I turned the power on it didn't kick on. After checking electrical/terminals there's power going to it. I'm being told that my well pump may be bad and needs replacing
Is it like we have to first put desired template in a mode and then move to Ac mode and leave it there ? If we do like this it will heat and store at the same time? And do we turn this off in summer ?
Can I unplug it without turning off the power? It happens every 3 am to 5 am and its to dark outside to see what I'm unplugging
Thank you ! I was able to safely disconnect the unit from ceiling base and stopped the loud intermittent beeping . I’ll have electrician replace the needed to replace ones. You put some peace back in the house. Thank you so much.
Excellent job my man you didn't You didn't miss anything you made it very clear keep bringing those videosi'm giving you thumbs up on that
That's more dangerous than you think , you give freedom to a Monster called Radioactive ☢️
Great post, is there a chart one can go by for different plugs on generator's. Thank you
subbed so I can actually learn about my RV
So ceiling has 4 wires (black, ground, red & white). My LED light has 3 wires (black, green & white) I should connect LED's Black to Red, White to White & last Green to Ground?
This my situation/question too.
thank you for your clear and concise video!
I’m unable to release the pin connector, it’s in there holding on for dear life! Any tips?
This video was great! Right to the point and very accurate.
Thank you so much i appreciate it!! 😊
Amazing video, works as promised, unplugged and battery removed, finally can use my a/c without it going off!
What degree slope will it not function? Like 10%? Will outriggers bring truck to level if the grade is more then 10%?
Front to back about 30 percent side to side, I would not want to go more than 10 percent. Its too unstable
God bless you!
Thanks a million man
What's up man chilling? thanks for the video homie. We in the hood and we have no electricians around here. Going to do it myself homie. Thanks
Ty
Is that disconnect a 20amp or 30?
up to 60 amp the breaker is limiting it to 20 amp the disconnect is just for service
Can you put 10/2 wire on a 20 amp breaker.
What size wire would I need for 220 volt running it about 350 feet
I have old hardwired smoke alarms that give off startling screams for no apparent reason! They share a circuit with lights etc...they are from 1980! I have battery operated ones that aren't warning of impending doom. I want to turn off the circuit and unplug them, tape plug with electrical tape. Then I will put case back on and turn power on. What do you think?
Clear and to the point! Very nice video. Just subscribed
Thank you so much for telling me how to disable my smoke alarm you saved my sanity!
I was taught to make it into hooks then put it towards the way you tighten it
this is backwiring, very different from back stabbing. backwiring (like in this case) is much safer than the traditional backstabbing
So is that the main power that is coming in
😂yup!
Good info,. What if your service panel is recessed into the wall?
That would be an issue
THE PLUG WONT COME OUT
You my friend are doing the lords work
Great video. Interesting stuff
Thank you!
Hi there what is 10/12 gauge in metric please. Because I have to wire up a well pump. Also what gauge would I use for a 1/2hp water pump. Glad I found you 👍👍
Baseboard heater should the censer be close for the heater to work THANKS
20A adding an other baseboard heater 3A 240 first from the panel is 3A wire is 10/2 second heater 3A using 8/2 wire its ok THANK YOU
I’m just here for the sexy guy. 🙌 No, wait I’m here because I have NO hot water and a single mom who can’t fix crap but it helps having the hot guy explain stuff that I still can’t fix. 😃
