I’m from Alaska visiting SC trying to catch my first bass. Do you know any spots that I don’t need a boat to get into? (It doesn’t need to be in the cooper river)
I recommend fishing ponds in neighborhoods like Wescott, White Hall, or anything located in Cane Bay. There is a decent dock located on the Coosaw Creek Reservoir that’s public.

what’s up MOG! Enjoyed the vid and recap. everything falls right in line with what we do down here on Lanier. I’m sure the jerk bait bite would’ve been better if there was a little wind, but it looked like there wasn’t much. :-) And yes, I love that Matte Shad color. I have that in a vision 110 Junior plus one. Killer bait. I haven’t been able to get out in a couple of weeks and it’s killing me.😂

Any recommendations for shore fishing on Lanier? I only have a kayak but am looking for a good spot to shore fish with the kids. The south end of the lake has been a big skunk for shore fishing.
I would recommend launching the kayak around Balus Creek. It’s a great creek that constantly has nice sized fish.

Two weeks ago that pinch point was freakin loaded pulled up on it dropped the trolling motor and there was about 150 of em roaming around
