I can not wait for the kitchen/great room combo to die. It's so tacky to walk into a multi million dollar home and be smacked in the face with a kitchen/living combo. Stop it builders and architects, seriously. A great room should be formal to receive guests into. I love a kitchen/family room or kitchen/keeping room combo that is tucked away from the formal great room. I love a scullery as well, but having a scullery doesn't elevate a kitchen to a "formal kitchen," or "show kitchen."

Some builders just focus on one style of home...your company has the full arsenal to make your clients dreams come true whether is a craftsman style, modern or a blend of the all the styles, your company knocks it out of the park. Is it going to be real plaster or just sheet rocked and painted? There is a difference. Real plastering is a forgotten art form. My step dad was a Mason Brick layer. They did Fireplaces chimneys all tile, and any kind of brick work you can think of. He was a Master!
