Little Shop Of Horrors - Bad Like Me (Scene Reconstruction)
มุมมอง 2.7K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
What you're about to see is a reconstruction of how the cut song "Bad Like Me" might've been planned to played out, using the storyboards intended for "Bad" | bought from the Propstore (which the Sequence Demo follows almost perfectly) and screenshots of ones for "Mean Green Mother From Outer Space". As for the music inbetween Somewhere That's Green" and the song, think of it as placeholder mus...

Hope this is ok to ask too, but: Would you like to work together in finding people to doing a full-animating of your TFTM with storyboards here? I can't animate, but I can help find those who can.
where did the alternative audio track come from with the instrumental score etc? ive never heard this before
thank you for uploading this!!!!

What a coincidence! I was actually working on a reconstruction of the story reel for the ending! Though I was going to use the audio from the original release of the ending. Also, what did you use to remove most of the sound effects in the "Subsequent" portion of "Don't Feed the Plants"?
Finally, someone noticed! I used the crowd separator on MVSEP. Also, what’s this “Story Reel” that you’re using?
They need to release a version with all the deleted scenes and add Snarl to this fight with Devastator. Also change Optimus being buried. Have him beat them all with ease.
The original ending is what the history needs to send his message, it's the true ending , the theaters ending was just because they were scare that if it wasn't cliche happy comedy finale they will lose money,it's just marketing and I despise it. thank god they realise the original cut
Personally, I'm glad they opted for the final cut ending instead. 1. Audrey deserved a happy ending. 2. The original ending frankly doesn't make sense. The Audrey IIs would never have been able to grow that big, because once their new owners learned that the plants required blood, returns would skyrocket. Seymour feeding the original one blood made sense, due to the circumstances he had been led into, but for the general public, they'd never let it get anywhere near that level.
Okay for one, this story isn’t really meant to make sense. It’s meant to be a metaphor for greed. Also the reason Audrey dies in the story is meant to be a consequence of Seymour’s actions. If he just accepted himself for who he was, he might have had a chance with Audrey by being honest. But instead he convinced himself he had to go out of his way to be someone else and it drove him to kill people. At first he was able to justify it by killing a huge asshole but then he ended killing a man, who while not perfect, wasn’t a total garbage person. And finally his greed catches up to both him and the one person he cared about.
I agree with you, but for different reasons Why I think the final cut ending is better 1. Seymour doesn't complete his character arc, in the theatrical ending and the original play ending, Seymour actually stands up to the plant. But in the directors cut ending he only tries too but ends up just scrambling around, and by the end of it he's plucked out of the ground and eaten. 2. Seymour actually got what he deserved in the play. In the original play, Seymour is deliberately responsible for the deaths of Orin and Mushnik. But in the movie, he kinda just watches it happen without knowing what's going on. And during the scene where Seymour storms out of the shop because of the press and Audrey talks to him, it's different in the play than in the movie. In the play, Seymour keeps telling Audrey to go away, this leads to Audrey coming back to the shop out of concern, it isn't Audrey II's fault that Audrey came over. But in the movie, the encounter between Audrey and Seymour goes much better, with them both even agreeing to get married, and when Audrey comes over to be eaten by Audrey II, it's entirely the plant's fault as he literally calls her over by phone. TBH it had nothing to do with Oz's mentality of "a bad ending hits different on stage than in film". The audience would probably accept the bad ending had they made Seymour more like his play counterpart. IMO the only reason Frank Oz prefers the bad ending is because of how much effort it took, and while it is understandable as it looks spectacular and took a lot of effort, he should've known sooner that the script changes they made ended up making the original ending fit in less.
@@vladtheimpaler3948 I don't think cutting down the "Meek Shall Inherit" number helped either.
It’s a bit if a Shane that Peter Cullen didn’t get too billing in the opening credits.
That Original Ending gave me nightmares when I was a kid.
I second that sentiment.

They were created after the movie was already in production.
I will never get why Prime calls Jazz over the computer/vid link, yet he is literally standing behind him. That and the fact Blaster and Perceptor stop to have a chat while the cassettes are going to at it tooth and nail.
Hope this is OK to ask, Mr. Stinson, but: Would you ever consider animating your shown storyboards? There are people online who would do that for you.

I’ve often wondered why people claim they were so affected by Primes’s death, & it really didn’t bother me at all, because he just never resonated with me like that. Honestly, I was more bothered by Prowl dying the way he did, as I always really liked him & had his toy. But now I’m starting to wonder if it was because I was 13 when this came out. And perhaps I was starting to age out when it came to cartoons. I wonder how old most of the people commenting were when this came out. I still watched it on tv until it ended, but I dunno. Maybe if I were a few years younger, I would’ve been more affected by his death?? I was only a year away from high school, so I suppose I was at the end of that period of my life, and I bet most of the people here were probably more in the 8-12 range. But I could be wrong…
There’s a whole script between starscream and megatron before he tosses him out. Not sure if the original script is still up somewhere but I remember hearing about it online somewhere
Looks like Shockwave was at Starscream's coronation...animation error or not...fugured he of all Decepticons would have been against it.

For all of the people that love to jump on the “this was just a toy commercial” bandwagon, you do realize…this is a CARTOON, right? Not a documentary, not a dramatization, a FREAKING CARTOON!! Aimed at CHILDREN!! What do you want??’!! I’m sorry, I just get so tired of people regurgitating the same takes, over and over…ok, as you were😂😂 One more thing; if it left you emotionally scarred because your favorite character was killed off, then that’s a problem. Did I hate that Prowl died? You better believe it. But somehow, I got over it. But I forgot how cool it sounds to say how scarred you were by characters from a cartoon being eliminated, so again, carry on.
This is superb! Just some observations on how you changed certain events: You changed Smokescreen for Wheeljack... deleted Redalert and Trailbraker's name from the storyboard images where they are clearly dead
Good video

Good job for getting thousands of subscribers, Rogers Stinson!
As an adult, I love how viscerally this shows the horror of Unicron. Like, I always knew that the consumption of a live planet would be horrifying, but to have the music take a back-seat, the destruction and terror present and audible... It almost evokes the feelings of the digestion scene from NOPE, its genuinely unsettling, I love it.
Fantastic editing job! I want to add all these parts to my TF video collection! :)
It’s probably just me, but with the music and animation, the scene where the Decepticons are retreating makes this battle look even more serious and what you saw on the tv show. I mean, just look at Mixmaster and Thrust at 8:55; they look tired, maybe even shell shocked. At 8:32, you can see Thrust carrying Shrapnel and then Long Haul carry Kickback. The fact that Megatron had to call Soundwave for assistance since he is too wounded to move on his own says a lot imo.
Autobot city turned out useless against Decepticons. And Autobots failed to kill a single Decepticon in this movie.
In the original first writings of the movie, there were a lot of Decepticons that met their end during this battle. Including tons of generic decepticons
They went all out with the story here. If it was made in Japan, used the extended scenes and was less of a music video this movie would be up there with Akira but with way more rewatchability. But no way would American kids be ready to see a version like that back then.
"If it was made in Japan..." Do you think Americans animated this?
@@CoriolanusQuince Americans controlled how it was made, obviously they used Japanese labor. I’m saying if this movie had no connection to America and given the japanimation treatment, back then they were making ultra violent cartoons with very deep stories. The Americans who wrote it made the script way more adult than any other American cartoons at the time that it gives it more of an anime feel. Would’ve been interesting to see that taken all the way anime. It would’ve been 30 years ahead of its time.
It was made by toie animation the same Japanese company responsible for dragonball z
Hopefully someday the whole battle of autobot city can be told in a way that blends into the film like it was always there, maybe with AI or something
Good job on adding General the Western and Atlantic 4-4-0 Tender Engine, his Western and Atlantic Railroad Coach, and Baltimore and Ohio Caboose in this remake as Johnny, his mail car, and caboose from The Brave Engineer.
you're amazing for doing this.
