Nothing new here. France has been doing this since at least 2007. I recall before the 2011 and 2015 world cups the top ABs were rested and protected. When significant money and player welfare is involved, this is what happens. Get over it and hope that the France B team doesn't smash you.

What Justin Marshall does not say is that the main objective of these tests is to make money for the NZ rugby body. This is evidenced by the proposal of the NZ rugby association to hold a game in the USA. The French said they like better play in front of NZ fans. Who is showing more respect to NZ fans? And the idea to have french payers travel france to nz and nz to usa and then usa to france is foolish

French club season runs from August to June, Players get released by their clubs for the 6 nations and the autumn internationals. Those players need a summer break or their careers will be curtailed. The French rightly see a summer tour as a development opportunity for younger players.

Marshall is being unfair. The top French players have a legitimate reason for not touring. All Blacks are worried they could get beaten by the French 2nd 15. Challenge surely is to beat the touring team by 50 points at least! Would certainly be worth watching.

No gripes at all with this team, DuPont though, he is incredible, not seen a player like him before I love to watch him play he’s so unpredictable and changes the game. He could be the best ever if he continues as he is

Dnt really hve too much of an gripe with Ur Team just 1-issue, though, this is Du-Pont reason-being is this Ur 2024-Team so were not looking @overall Brilliance were looking @2024 & the fact is tht Du Pont basically didn't contribute tht much to 15-Man Game this Season as he was Playing 7's so I wld actually go with Jamison Gibson-Park (like World Rugby did) as he has been consistently amazing for Ireland & Leinster thru-out 2024!!!! Also, this is not from an Irish man or NZ I'm a SA in-case Ur wondering!!!!!
