1500 HP Sierra, time for the laundry!
มุมมอง 44021 วันที่ผ่านมา
Something I've wanted secretly in the back of my mind for years, is a parachute. Well, this video we make it happen. For anyone who wants to get one me about having a parachute, the truck went 140MPH on the old set up in the 1/4. At more than twice the typical weight of a racecar, if (and when) it touches anything higher, I'll be more than happy to have it. Support the shop here: issyfabspeed.c...

I've built several sets of headers in my day, but let me tell you, building equal length headers with firing order in mind feels like a personal attack on myself. craftcloud is indeed tits
so clean but the engine bay needs some color.....maybe some TEAL ????
I like teal but not for this unit
That aluminum 3D printing is pretty amazing 😮
It sure is, got a couple more things in the works with it.
What's been done to the engine? How much boost? Fueling mods, supporting mods, etc? 🙌🏽
Engine is stock with valve springs, second fuel pump, Neon SRT-4 injects, not sure on boost, maybe 10lbs? Pretty stock set up.
Can’t wait for this thing to come to America and we can get a top end of the race track picture. With me out front, you behind but dumping the chute. It’ll be glorious glory hallelujah.
That would be a pretty great day, other than the part where you're gonna get smoked.
Nice work Jeff 🤙
Appreciate it man!
I was really hoping to see your dirty laundy.
So fucking sick! Guys like and comment make sure the algorithm loves Jeffy! The more we engage the more Jeff wins!
*heart emoji*
Looks pretty clean need some big meat on it though it’ll spin those little donuts off in 100 feet
For sure, they turn to smoke pretty easily.
Good work.
Thank you!
Hard lines <3
Nothing better!
Pretty sure ite called a chass is ... not a chass ey ... and you build cars smh lol
potato tomato
What wheels need em on mine ?
Wheel/tire setup ?
@@jaimea9151 it’s in the video…
Nobody asked any questions about one particular build and that made me a little sad. Next time 😂
Don't put that out in the world hahaha
Absolutely awesome man, one step at a time don’t kill yourself! Super proud of you man the things you do is mind blowing, your dedication, and passion is inspiring for a lot of us to say the least.
Thanks a lot man. Means a lot to hear that.
👍🏼👍🏼
High five
It's a good looking setup brother but your putting WAY to much thought on the headers... it's a turbo small block man the only thing they are gonna do is eventually hold back pressure after you start turning it up
I can definitely agree, I am putting way too much thought into it, but that's kind of my MO haha. This is all a challenge/learning experience for me at this point. I've built dozens of 1000+hp turbo kits and never cared about the length of anything so this is just the opposite end of the spectrum for me. Best part is, if it starts becoming an issue down the road, I can just build something else!
Can’t wait to see this badboy rip 🤜🤛
Haha, same!
How fast does it go?
Currently, not very. But it has been 10.1 on the old set up.
That's nice
Thank you!
Hell yea! Get in the comments for Jeff guys, engagement is what’s going to get this channel to where it deserves to be!!
Yessir. At least chirp him a little if anything.
@ it’s amazing how much 1 or 5 or 20 comments helps. P.s. killer work with filming and editing guys.
I appreciate that a lot dude.
real clean
Thanks dude!
Can't remember if I've asked before but .. why a single wind maker not 2 . Treat it like 2 4 cylinders easy packaging
I've built a number of twin kits, not my favourite lol. Plus one huge turbo just has some kind of "look" that I love.
High boost=small wastegate Low boost=larger wastegate Just depends on how much exhaust you’ll actually need to bypass twin 50s should work great to maintain turbo response
Yes sir I believe we picked the right ones as well.
Remind Jeff to turn his mic on.
Reminder
How does your trans tuning?
Champion Motors in Scarborough Ontario has done tuning on this truck exclusively since the beginning.
Killer job, Jeff! Giving me lots of ideas for my truck build!
Thanks man! I've been thinking about this tube set up for 4 or 5 years now anyway, so it felt great to start to see it come together finally.
Great work as always buddy. I see the Instagram updates, but I love seeing the whole process of getting it done.
Thanks for following along Darren! Means a lot.
🙌🏼
Thanks man!
W2hat is this material BAS?,HDPETG? nylon?:? my lord a 3mm metal part with layer stamp XD
It's just the cheap house brand PLA from filaments.ca! Worked awesome.
7:50 bro use safety, that plastic could have smashed. Also should have made alignment pins in the 3d printed model.
Yes I'll agree, got a little excited and just went for it, haha. I thought about alignment dowels but didnt want to drill any holes in the bracket or have to have the tool way wider than it already is. It's pretty easy to line up this particular setup.
So sick! Great work man
Thanks buddy!
Wind acquired got me goin😂
Imagine all the dumb shit that doesn't come out loud haha
Thaftey gogglthes!!! 🤓
I had the squints on haha
You have perfect dimples!
Now I'm blushing!
Header and exhaust/turbo manifold videos are the best. It's such an art and I like hearing the thought process as they are designed, then seeing the final product come together.
I'm excited to get after it as well, I love building headers and this one will be a pretty significant challenge, haha.
super pumped to see this video series. awesome work on the videos up to this point!
Thanks very much! Hopefully each one gets a little better than the last.
Just curious, did you end up blocking off inside of that tranny crossmember, to prevent losing the nuts during re&re? Wonder if that would maybe even add more rigidity as well.
I chose not to just to simplify the design. It's made out of .135" plate so it should be plenty strong as is, considerably thicker than the OE version. The stock ones are also not blocked off, worst case if I lose a nut inside I can just rattle it out again.
Motorama beer bet may need to come back
You're on, pal.
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks, Frank!
Where do you get those bushings from?
Hey! We sell them on issyfabspeed.com! Lots in stock.
You also gotta get a driveshaft loop in there sir lol
Definitely, I have plans for a few different variations for the front and rear shafts. That'll be something dealt with on the hoist though. Very soon!
what cad software are you using? do you have a scanning setup to scan the engine bay? if so what is it? glad to see you back on this truck
I've been using Fusion360, it's been great and there's lots of tutorials all over the internet. I don't have any scanning equipment yet, but it's certainly on the list. Glad to be back on it!
More truck videos ..less jeff more Blix and bodhi lol
I'll put that in the notes.
I really should take that mid ram off your hands…
I'll box it up for you!
@@issyfabspeed Lol if I could fit it without a tubular rad support I would love yo
Sounds like quitter talk to me.
Ive got a guy that i work with that can get black magni coated bolts that are 2100 hr salt spray... he can do black or silver. might be something cool for your screamer pipe cutout bolts in the bumper.
I honestly have no idea what any of that means hahahaha, but it sounds like they're designed to hold up a lot better than what I've got? Definitely interested!
@@issyfabspeed they won't turn to rust in 2 weeks like all the zinc crap you can buy local.
I'm intrigued for sure! These ones are coated stainless so they don't rust, but they have faded significantly.
Do it the right way. The chances you redo it are very low but the chances of you hating yourself and the truck if you don’t….very high. Get it right. Whatever that may be. Keep pressing and make it happen, rightly.
We trying, baby! I think I'm one of the few who would miss a season (or 4) just to make sure it's right.
@@issyfabspeed do better.
No you
Looks awesome Mr🍻
Looks awesome Jeffrey🍻
Thanks pal
Cab mounts are a thing of beauty. Been in multiple solid mounted trucks and you can’t tell the difference.
That's good info! I already pulled the plates. I'll explain why down the road.
