My dad was stationed at Redstone Arsenal from 1973(or 4)-1977 when he retired from the Army in 1977. I was in grade school. I was about to go into Jr. High the next school yr. I have sooooo many wonderful childhood memories of Redstone Arsenal. I even to this day have dreams of going back & seeing the many places I had seen when I was a kid. Our address was 1345-B Jupiter Ct. I miss it. I was in Girl Scouts & we camped on "Squirrel Hill". Don't know if it's still called that or not. I think Redstone Arsenal is the most prettiest base I have ever been on. After my dad retired, we moved to Moore, Ok & that's where he lived till he passed away in Sept, 2000. We have Tinker AFB nearby & it's nowhere as beautiful as Redstone Arsenal. I am about to turn 57yrs old now & sure wish I could go back in time & be there with my parents again. (Mom passed away too in 2018. I brag of Redstone Arsenal to my friends today!

@@nicholasmaude6906 It wouldn't have worked, of course: SpaceX did try it with the early Falcons. But knowing this a lot sooner would have gotten them thinking of other solutions.
