Most of the time companies will tell you you are the perfect candidate then proceeded to say they would like to set up an interview but have no availability. They will then leave you on red for three months and complain that they still have vacancies. That is why companies are struggling to fill spaces.

I've recently started my Certificate in Mortgage Advice with the CII. I've been browsing jobs for when I'm qualified and I've noticed that they all want someone with prior experience in the industry, even for Mortgage Administration jobs. Is there any tips you can give on how to gain experience? Would working as say, a letting agent be a step in the right direction?

Thanks for the video, but I’ve actually got confused: at 2:25 you mentioned both unit 1 & 2 will be tested using 50 multiple questions over 2 hours ?? But wait, 50 questions over 2 hours only for 2 units ??? What about the other 23 units ?? Do those not get tested ?? How many questions are in the CeMAP 1 exam ??? Are all multiple choice ?
