We are the Deetlefs' , Sky and Lance 👫🏼.
We are a young South African couple that LOVE travel ! ✈️ Sky is 25 years old and a qualified OT and Lance is 26 years old and a qualified plumber.
We have recently sold everything we own (except some clothes😅) and are heading on an African adventure. 🌍
We are planning to work and travel through African countries one after the other, mostly using Workaway opportunites to get from SA to Uganda in roughly 6-8 months.😁

UGANDA PART 1 || Sipi Falls hike, white river rafting and many smiles.
In this episode of our backpacking Africa trip, we first cross the border into Uganda and find our way to Sipi falls. We stayed with a couchsurfing host in a small village in the hills. We went on a long strenuous hike to see the 3 waterfalls that make up Sipi Falls. It was amazing. After Sipi we travelled to Jinja, stayed with another host who showed us around a local school, the source of the Nile and his own local bar. We ticked white river rafting off our bucketlist after finding an insane deal. It was nerve wrecking but so FUN! Kampala was next where we met Billy, a friend we made "virtually" after inquiring about gorilla trekking. It was such a pleasure spending the afternoon with Billy at Lake Victoria and then going back home to meet his family. Billy very kindly lent us one of his rental cars for a few days so we could explore his country more easily. So from Kampala we headed in the direction of Lake Bunyoni.

Came across your channel while doing research for a potential solo trip to Malawi, Zambia and Botswana. Took a taxi from Manzini to Maputo earlier this month.
