I have the D2 in 6 string its a great sounding guitar! I actually prefer it over my $700 art and lutherie americana. Just wish the neck was a little more refined on my D2 other than that perfect. Tuners are best I've had on a guitar aswell.

I love the ESP CHUNPA-V Aldious Toki Signature guitar. Toki is a great guitarist and Aldious is a great band the first real metal all female Japanese band. This guitar is a bit out of my price range always hoping I will come across a preowned one to come my way for a reasonable price.

In the mix the Tone Zone 7 is very comparable to my EMG81 dirty. Very modern sounding humbucker and perfectly suited to our needs.

Get rid of the awful taping tricks . Will sound better if you just play the guitar . If you require percussionist get a drummer. I am in my 70s and back in my day, if bongos were required we hired a drummer. Much better.
