10 Tips You NEED for Traveling to South Africa
I put the pepper spray on the dash where it can be seen by customs and so I don't forget to declare it. But don't touch it when talking to customs as it's considered a weapon. Having an online business is a huge grey area. Even answering business emails could be construed as work. Having been turned away is on your record. You might want to talk to a Canadian immigration lawyer before trying to cross again.
If you would have just kept your mouths shut about pepper spray you would have been just fine😂 jackwagons
This was a helpful video, on what not to do. I often wondered why people were giving their whole itinerary and now I know, so the customs agent knows you're not planning to stay indefinitely and have an exit plan/date
Sorry you’re not black enough. Cross illegally and they’ll help you with your bags
You had to have had a concrete reason to return to your home country and convince the officers that you'll be returning to the States. Big no no if you don't have a return date to your home country unless you had a Canadian visa that meant you're moving to Canada for work, study, live either temporary or permanently
Title should read, "How to do multiple things wrong so you can be denied at the border"
You made yourselves sound like you were going to illegally immigrate to Canada and work remotely without a work VISA with no reason to return
Lol I’m sorry you guys went through rough time. For someone who grew up on a border city it always been a pain in the ass to go through. So by experience if you failed to give precise dates and destinations you wanted to do than you are in trouble lol and they were probably worried about working in canada. Many fellow nomads Canadians going around the country in a camper van but as long as you travel in Canada. If I wanted to do that in the usa I would need a temporary work visa
Did you ask how long your now banned for ? Is i short term or long term? If you don't know ask before trying to cross again
All you had to do was say appox 60days back before 'December 20th' for example
They think you are homeless. They don't like open ended return dates most countries want to stamp a return date in the passport.
If you would have worn a turban they would have let you in right away👳♂️🤣
Was downtown Nashville dog friendly when you visited?
should have said you were non binary trans people
The CBSA asks all those questions to determine your strong ties back in the USA. 1. How are you going to support yourself for two months? Work remotely, work whatever (indication of uncertain ties) 2. Do you still have a house back in Wisconsin? No, we don't (another red flag of uncertain ties) 3. Where are your possessions? Most are at our parent's house (No physical assets, major red flag of uncertain ties) 4. What are you gonna do in two months in Canada? Our baby brother just had a newborn (Why ditching your baby brother for two months?) 5. Can you give me a concrete date to return back in the USA? We don't have a plan, just go with the flow (suspicion to immigrate to Canada) All of your answers give a suspicion to immigrate to Canada on the grounds that you have no strong ties back in the USA. You are not allowed to immigrate to Canada without the proper visa. Simple as that.
Simple since you have all decided to be fascists now please dont bother coming to visit Canada. I promise I wont drive down there for anything. :You can practice your goose step.
Having a conceal handgun permit comes up with Drivers license from most states as well as registered guns. Not all states have a concealed weapon permit associated with the drivers license number. In my state any registered guns or permits will show up when the ID number is entered into any legal database.
BC is not a providence. If you were to look at a map of Canada, you would see BC is a province 😂.
Remember, Canada is a communist country and doesn't allow people to defend themselves against wild animals or people that SA women.
Do they have ATM that you can get USD ?
Sounds like the Canadian border guards did their job...Oh how I wish our US Border guards did their jobs. Imagine a country that actually enforced their border... what a concept.
Thanks for sharing this sis! We will be flying instead since we still got our Philippines passport. Noted that pepper spray is a No no. Keep safe you guys!
2:14 could have called them personally from down the street and find out that way.
So… you didn’t go through because of something you weren’t supposed to have? Why bring anything like that in the first place?
Yall slow asf 😂
Yeah no solid plans and jobs unless you are retired. Can't just go with the flow. When i go to Mexico im required to state how long im staying
next time stay home , not welcomed lol
it's your fault, Canada thinks u just trying to move in illegally, idiots
Just came back from a trip to 4 countries in South Americe. And yes it felt safer than rumor has it At least in big cities never hail a taxi from the street. Either get the hotel to call you a licensed taxi - or use apps like Uber/InDrive. If necessary you can share drivers number plate and face pic with a friend. In Bogota a lot of taxis use InDrive Isnt good sushi kind of expensive everywhere? But yeah cost of food and hotels differ a lot from country to country. I found Argentina and uruguay to be relatively expensive, while colombia i had a private clean hotel room in the city center for 15$ (for 2 people). In Peru cheap hotel rooms sometimes doesnt come with hot water. Sun block often is expensive outside the West Only water in Uruguay normaly is safe in general to drink
Zapiekanka is not polish pizza my lady . 😮😢😢😢😢
im canadian and it is always the canadian side that cases issues, when I cross the US agent were pretty cool and made jokes with us, the Canadian side seems like they hate their jobs
Sounds like the two of you only have yourselves to blame for not being able to cross the border. I mean there are "TH-cam" vids about how to answer border patrol agents so you can get across. smh
Your answers were incomplete and you sound apprehensive even now explaining it
This is my first video and I'm already enjoying! I subscribed definitely. I have a question did you guys ever make it back to Canada where you were able to cross? This is my first video so I'm not seen further past this. I've never been out of a couple States I was born in Florida lived in Michigan most of my life and lived in Ohio for a part of my life. I have been to a couple other states but I would definitely love to go to Oregon's Washington and then up into British Columbia!!!! Throughout the rest of I don't know if it's a Providence or a state 🤔😆 anyway I think that's amazing that you guys get to travel if I had the money I would definitely do it. My dad and I are going to win the lottery and that's the first thing we're going to do is get an RV and we're going to travel. I'd also love to go to Switzerland someday 🤷🏻♂️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 God bless both of you God bless your families be safe on your journeys.
Similar happened to us driving from Maine to Canada. Lady was on a power trip and very short with my wife, parents and I for no reason. We are very easy going people. We did have pepper spray because my wife runs and I like her to have something for self defense. So they had us go in like you, we got lucky and that agent was great. He asked if it was cool if he tossed it or if I wanted it when we return, then said he was going to give me my first Canadian souvenir with a form he gave me lol. No further issues, maybe it was because we had a set plan with stops in Canadian cities for 5 days. On the way back in through Houlton, the customs agent was hilarious and complimented me on my truck, said it sounded good lol. Night and day difference, took 20 seconds.
Try to visit in Philippine they wont deny you there. And people are friendly
The Canadian border is a inconsistent bunch of dumb power trippers....I am Canadian......these clusoes have questioned me when I have been returning from travel,..Air or land.,where was I where did I stay....just a waste of time...because news flash you cant prevent me from coming in.....as they question me plane loads of foreigners file by......they just operate that way....they are a bit on the woke side. ...probably their training......you should have ditched the baseball hat...wore a pink shirt....they are afraid of any kind of weapon ......even though ..bearspray and knives and guns are sold in Canada...dont think of it as not getting into Canada...think of it as having failed a woke test....
You do not wanna come to this shithole anyway.
I’m Canadian, u.s. guys are always great, Canadians not so much.
fake Canadian
They probably figured you guys were homeless drug dealers or running from something or someone it sounds like…you guys looked and sounded suspicious and the pepper spray did not help matters.
Great video
Was there a certain amount of time that they gave you that you could try and go back in?
Entitled Americans 😂
Did you guys visit Bangladesh?
I know I'm replying to an old video but... The other comments have already pointed out what you did wrong. Now you know. I think the main problem was the vague 2 months stay. You need concrete plans. I wanted to add: 7:09 "Couldn't give him any answer" "Going with the Flow" Could mean anything including illegal stuff. They have to err on the side of precaution, unfortunately. Before I moved back to Canada (from US) I crossed the border many times per year to visit my family. Always told them the truth. I'm visiting my family in < location > for x weeks. I'm bringing over these items/gifts. That's it. Easy peesy. Took 2-5 minutes to actually cross. Most of time was spent waiting for holiday traffic. For any banned (basic) weapons if you declare them they would just confiscate them upon entry. Non declaration of illegal/banned weapons will result in more serious charges including arrest.
For the jobs you have you guys seem naive at best
should have said you were a student coming from india.
Yep you have nothing tied to your country. When I went to work on a TN visa in the US I had to maintain a residence in Canada.
Okay, so here's the lesson, in case anyone missed it: When you enter another country as a tourist, they have to be reasonably certain that you are, indeed a tourist, who intends to leave rather than someone who is trying to enter illegally. For that reason, it's important when traveling across an international border, to be able to demonstrate a clear plan of exit and how you have the means to be traveling - another sign you may be seeking entry for work purposes, as opposed to leisure. That's all. The questions were extremely standard, actually. Also, check what is and isn't considered a weapon in the country you're entering. Rules are strict when going over International borders. Most places have VERY different attitudes on the right to bear arms than the US. Live and learn. Better planning and better luck next time :)
So far the only 10 tips video that was usefull. Great video, great pacing, great content. Love to see more!
