Hi! This is my channel, nothing major. I hope to document little pieces of my lifestyle, and just provide some half decent videos to watch. Whether its my old motorcycle videos or my new video logs about kitesurfing and my progression in the sport. Most of all thank you for watching!!
Yamaha FZR600R... restoration complete and ready for the track!
A 1995 Yamaha FZR600R that I stripped down and rebuilt. It was my first ever restoration and I'm going to be mainly for track but still has an MoT.
The bike was stripped fully, all major components were powder coated. New bearings, shock, fork rebuild, various fixings.
The engine was a solid runner before the strip down. I did the valve clearances, fitted a full race system and replaced most gaskets after a respray of the engine covers. The carbs were sonically cleaned and rebuilt, new throttle/clutch cables were fitted too.
A great bike, super light and flickable.

Practicing Ride to Blind

Practicing my ride to blinds and throwing in some tail grabs as well. Bit to windy to try a railey to blind, but that's the ultimate aim!

honda vfr400 nc30
มุมมอง 1.4K13 ปีที่แล้ว
this is my honda vfr400 nc30. i had stripped it down to fit a new push throttle cable, in the process a little excess fuel got in the system making pop and spit flames lol. plus thought there are not many good examples of the vfr V4 sound.
Good job, looks great. Have you improved driving characteristics?
is the exhaust with the catalytic converter?
Is this a slip-on or a full exhaust?
Good replacement for the nc 30 peace off crap WHAT!!!! 😂

The neighbors were definitely happy.
Those mirrors will get ya killed some day :-s .. move focus from the road .. comon :-s
I have factory fitted bar end mirrors on my new bike and have to say I do prefer them. They are still fairly inconspicuous. But like you say I feel with these new mirrors my focus doesn't have to leave the road by much or for as long.
do i need to readjust the carburetor?
No, plug'n'play! Powerband gous up in rpm little bit from my experience. Hardly notice any difference in terms of power change.

Amazing sound, imagine how it will be on 1000cc :P
600cc
Size doesnt impact the sound....
Do ya still have the bike these days
nice belly pan mate . where did u get it from?
Pyramid plastics, they have a website and do things for most bikes
Nice!
theirs a lot of see see see
Wanna sell the baffle ?
Black is the best colour I am changing my cb 600f from dark red to black
Black is not a colour tho .. its a base tone / Shade .. but anyways :D
Mate, this bike looks so nice. Make another video with sound.
I got my baffle in.. But I've got a blackwidow on my hornet and it's deep enough with it in.. From stock to blackwidow the sound is amazing.. I'll do a video soon and show you or add it and your see.
Nuts bike.I may end with one of these in the future.cheers .
I am eating frozen bloodworm as I watch this video.
Lovely bike mate.hav you still got it.?????
No I don't have it anymore, I traded up to a Triumph Street Triple. Unfortunately I got rid to fund going self employed and now have a 1995 Yamaha FZR600r
What do you do for a living? I'm a self employed fart analyst. Like you, I had to watch the pennies when I started out so I made my own fart analysing box out of 4 lengths of chipboard, some baking foil, a few dozen transistors from Ebay and an old starter motor from a Renault Megane.
How did you get the db killer out? Did you just drill out the rivet?
Yes, its really easy. Then I replaced it with a small nut and bolt so I can put the db killer back in if I need to.
I need these!! Love that you can take the baffle out so easily
Yeah i know the comment is over 3 yeara old. But when you get a brand new mivv xcone, the baffel has a popnite in it. So you have to have metal drill to get it out. But the sound it makes... Is worth the effort
what main jet do you have in carburetors? 115/110?
nice bike! i used to have a 99' 599 , then i upgraded to a 02' 919 both awesome
What forum did you use?
+Jon A www.hondahornet.co.uk. This was quite a while ago, but I'm sure its still an active forum.
+aaron pitkethly thanks man. I'm thinking of buying a cb600. any tips or recommendations?
Honda did have some cam chain tensioner problems with the engines around this model year, so check for knocking noises from the right side of the engine. The down pipes and collets tend to be very susceptible to corrosion, get right up in there and give it a good check. Other than that aim for a good service history over lower milage and jobs a gooden. P.S if buying from a private seller dont let them rush you though it, if they are overly chatty its usually because they will be trying to get you to over look something.
@@ajpitkethly nice bike thinking of getting one when i do my test this year
Beautiful
have you changed carbs setting for this exhaust?
wow :)
clean bike i will use this video for reference if i end up getting a 599. nice mods.
Hi Aaron. Your bike is mint. I have a hornet 2002 but it's no where near as clean as your bike. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it? How's the new exhaust?
Thanks Lee. I paid at the time just shy of £3000 for it, that was pretty much 2 years ago. The same bike now I rekon with similar miles probably would set you back 2400-500. The Mivv X-cone is mentally loud, with no baffle it pops and cracks on the over run and sounds amazing!
What wetsuit do you have for the winter
Hi, I bought myself a 5/4mm Mystic star. This is the budget model, navy and yellow is a hard colour to get(but the best looking one of the 3) so I had to order it in from Holland threw a UK shop. Super comfy, great stretch, warm and its only £139. For a winter wetsuit that's pretty good I thought. Thank you for watching aswell!
Thanks im new to kitesurfing got to get a wetsuit didn't know what to get might sea you at sunny hunny
@@rfenables4 I just bought a 5.5/4mm... not sure if that would be too hot or not...
Hay love your videos im trying to learn to kitesurf and cross between hunstanton to Skegness for cancer if you can help me let me no thanks rob
Hi Rob thanks for your interest in my videos. How can I be of help?
aaron pitkethly as a beginner to the sport i don't know what kite to go for or if you may have an old one or a wetsuit ive got the board and harness naw my challenge is to do it before September
rfenables4 I don't have any old kites I'm afraid, but I would recommend buying second hand for your first ones. You will crash it a lot and possibly damage it, so you won't want a new one. Don't buy any kites older than 2009 as the safety systems prior to that year are not very good. Once you are kitted out and ready to hit the water, send me a message if you are heading to Hunstanton. :)
Very good bike! I have the same one and I enjoy it very much! It is a very good machine! Enjoy it and ride safely!
That's a great bike my friend with lot's of potentials. Have fun and ride safe!
You guys sold. I like it very CB600F hornet.
£3000. pretty good deal considering the miles and age. thanks btw! I love it
@MrDrunkenMistake nice one mate. my bikes sort of a project bike. next month its gunna be treated to renthal sprockets and tsubaki gold x-ring chain, and some other little bits and bobs. i should also be getting a full tyga system aswell with the moto maggot can, in a couple of months!
Love it bro, Just set up a full tyga system on my NC30, fires flames about a foot long out the back end haha,
