ASEAN-BAC Malaysia has been given the honour to convene the 100th ASEAN-BAC Council Meeting and host the ASEAN-BAC 100 Commemorative Dinner, marking the roots of ASEAN-BAC's inception in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and celebrating the shared achievements and milestones. Beyond commemorating the past, the event sparked renewed enthusiasm for the future, strengthening bonds within the ASEAN business community. The day was filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and a revitalised commitment to ASEAN-BAC's joint vision.

ASEAN is ½ China population but ~1/5 of its economy. ASEAN has a lot of room to grow. Using FDI to improve hard/digital infrastructure is certainly better than exporting mainly commodities and low end products.
