Belly Tank Racer
มุมมอง 2.1K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Mike Brown of Marrow, OH designed and built this Belly Tank Speed Racer in his garage. The car’s body is a replica of drop fuel tanks used on World War II airplanes. The aerodynamic shape made these discarded miliary surplus parts the body of choice of land speed racers in the '50s and beyond. Mike not only pays tribute to these pioneer dare devils with his car, but also pilots the racer to rec...

I wonder if Dave’s dad ever told him to quit playing “with those damned cars, and get a real job.” The guy has a great mind for shapes and design. Thank you for the guided tour.
Amazing, no other words, just amazing. and Pure Kindig.
It's unbelievable. What a car.
150 lbs of body filler in this car!
I'll be the odd man out. Wonderful craftsmanship as usual. I just don't like the lines. If you put a big hot dog on top, it would look like the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile... That was my first thought on seeing it.
Interesting comment, I didn't see that coming😮
What ever happened to the episodes on Motortrend? I never seen them unless its on the streaming channel
Just posted on Kindig's FB page: 'After an incredible run, Bitchin’ Rides will come to an end with its 11th season in 2025. It’s been an amazing journey, and we’re so grateful to all our fans who’ve supported us through the years. 🙏 While the show is wrapping up, this isn’t goodbye for Kindig-it Design-we’ve got big plans ahead, and we can’t wait to share them with you! Season 11 is going out in style, featuring some of our best builds yet, including our Ridler Award-winning project that’s been 4.5 years in the making. Thank you for being part of this ride. Stay tuned for updates, and don’t forget-you can always rewatch your favorite episodes on Discovery+ and Max (HBO Max). '
so perfect you'll never want to drive it 😂
👍
Pensei até que era o carro já do Renato Garcia 😂
Best builder in the world. Everything he does is top tier.
True, Dave and his team keep raising the bar! I'll pass on your comment to Dave.
Congrats on scoring the great interview!
Thank you! Dave was kind enough to give us a great walk around tour of his fabulous build. I appreciate the comment. Please check out our other interviews from classic car events around the country. 👍
Looks like your vet
That is one BITCHIN RIDE !!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the comment, I'll pass it on to Dave. Please follow our channel for more classic car news.
Dave ......l've always admired your dedication and skill. And without the skills of your team this would remain a dream . Without doubt , this is the epitome of Dave Kingdig Design . Even you would have to concede this is the very top of the mountain and Chip Foose would bow his head to you and your magnificent team of artisans skills. Beautiful ! Incredible! Impossible ! ❤ oh ! And congratulations 😊
Thanks for the comment, I'll pass it on to Dave. Please follow our channel for more classic car news.
Incredible! Wow!
👍
AWESOME CAR , AWESOME BUILDER 😎👍
👍
Beautiful car!!! Ugly interior color. What a shame! 😵💫
I am speechless!
👍
Do one in a phone booth... World record phone booth holder....
Really awesome!! that is a powerful machine...I am not sure I would want to be on the front end of that arrow...
👍
OUTSTANDING! I especially like the removal of gauges from the cockpit. Keeping your eye on the finish line really is job one!
👍
In my opinion you have taken the lead on the best car builder in the world!
Yeah Dave has taken it to a new level. 👍
Where the heck is the gas cap?
That's a good question. The Steve Sheets, the builder did not cover that detail, and it is obviously well hidden. You'll have to contact Steve at True Colors Customs to get that answer. Thanks for the comment! Bob @eClassicAutos
You have every right to be proud, Dave. All the guys. You sir, are a visionary.
Thanks for the comment, I'll pass it on to Dave. Please subscribe to the eClassicAutos channel. 📺

Why couldn’t Detroit come up with something like this for our corvettes instead of trying to mimic the Europeans
Love all your ideas on this vette beautiful car.
Yeah, Dave has created a real masterpiece!
Yes, it is a fantastic build. 👍
👍
Stunning 🎉🎉🎉🎉😢🎉🎉🎉🎉
👍
Beautiful but the grill and headlights can be better
The truest meaning of a 1 of 1
Yes it is! Thanks for watching.

Shannon, Thank you for telling us about your great build. Please share the video with your fans and give us a follow! Here's a link to our post on the Louisville show: www.eclassicautos.com/national-street-rod-association-louisville-2024/ Bob @eClassicAutos
Wow.
Ed was the shiz
An amazing guy for sure. Unfortunately I never met Ed but he did leave us some great creations that defined an era.
Doesn't get better than GOLD! LOVE IT!
👍
RIP Norm was a family friend. We have a few of his skulls and creations. Miss him terribly.
Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Norm, from the comments I received on this video, he was a beloved part of the custom car world. I was glad to capture this piece of automotive history. Bob @eClassicAutos
it dissappeared?.....more like stolen and probably rests in some private collectors collection
Very cool 🤙 I just found a 51 4 dr.
You may want to reach out to Shannon at Pot O’ Gold Kustoms. I’m sure he would like to hear that you saw his video and should have a lot to share about working on a ’51 Merc.
@@eclassicautos5101 I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. I picked up a handful of others. One being a 54 merc with continental kit
Woe, Baby! ❤
👍
Stock only! Gawd awful.
Have to disagree there
@@kdsboosted4954 being wrong, you have every right to disagree. 😂
@Jasona1976 the value reflects what the rest of the world sees it. Stock isn't worth anything custom is six figures hmm hard choice.
@@kdsboosted4954 your opinion only your weird taste only. 😱😂🏳️🌈
Beautiful Mercury made in my birth year, 1951. It’s beautifully done, and the very mild custom touches are perfect. Great work, all of you there.
Well it can carry some golf clubs.
Very nicely !!
Man it's same quality of any riddler winner
It was one of the 8 finalists. It probably would have won if not for Kindig-It’s v12 “vette”
Beautiful!
Thanks, I’ll pass on your comment to the owner of the GTO. Bob@eClassicAutos
What a beautiful car!
Do you own this car?
I owned a 55 Bel. What a stunning car you must feel proud. A one off !!!! Love it.❤❤❤❤
