- Protection against low-pressure water jets from all directions.

- Protection against immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.
- Protection against immersion in water deeper than 1 meter for prolonged periods.
Common IP Ratings for CCTV Cameras
- Dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Ideal for outdoor environments where the camera might be exposed to rain and dust.
- Dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets. Suitable for harsh outdoor environments with heavy rain and potential water pressure.
- Dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion in water. Good for areas where the camera might be submerged briefly, such as in flood-prone areas.
- Dust-tight and protected against continuous immersion in water. Designed for extreme conditions where the camera might be submerged for extended periods.
Choosing the Right IP Rating
When selecting a CCTV camera, consider the environment where it will be installed:
- Indoor Use :Typically, IP40 or higher is sufficient, depending on the level of dust and moisture in the area.
- Outdoor Use :IP65 or higher is recommended to ensure the camera is protected from rain, dust, and other environmental factors.
