Why are you calling them Canada snow geese? They are simply snow geese....no more now less!!! Well other then the fact theses are lesser snow geese that originated out of the United States, Canada and Russia I'm curious why you're randomly tacking Canadian on to them since it has litraly nothing to do with them!?!?
They were all born in northern Canada. Just like if you were born in America we would call you American.
@@aguyinavan6087 ahhh no these are Midcontinent snow geese meaning they are born anywhere from northern Canada through the northern United States AKA a place called Alaska as well as Northeastern Russia! I have taken more than my share of these geese and I have a number of leg bands that originated from Wrangell Island.... And since the last time I checked that goddamn Islands in f****** Russia not to mention the Eastern population tends to originate out of Greenland which is also not part of Canada last I checked! In the end there is no such thing as any goose called a Canadian goose there is a species of geese called Canada geese which has subsequently been split into two different groups with the new one being referred to as cackling geese! But not a one of them are Canadian geese for such a goose does not exist as snow geese most definitely do not exist in that realm considering the fact that Canada geese are members of the branta family where's the Snows are the members of the Chen family which are completely different subgroups of geese! Snow geese deserve credit where it's due because they have the most beautifully awesome Latin name of any animal I know of in existence!!! For when you translate their Latin name into English it translates into the Goose From Beyond The North Wind! Tell me that's not just awesome as hell!
