Wow! What a fire and so lucky that there was no apparent property damage nor injuries. Thank you Greg for the footage.
No structure damage, Lots of acreage burned, and trees burned.
Looking good.
@@peterdarby793 And a long way to go. Thanks for the comment.

Love watching the time lapse, this build is awesome. Hope you’re having a great week. Donald and Lisa
Thanks for watching
Hello from Mr. Garry….your NEW FRIEND!
Thanks for watching.
That looks so cool! Really like seeing the time-lapse. By the way I sent your stickers but Canada is having a postal strike so no mail is being processed. It'll probably take some time before it makes it to you now 😢. Let me know when you eventually get them.
Nice to see siding on. That's good progress. Nice stickers from Ed. I'd love to send you some stickers as well!
@@RossOnTheLand Yes, finally some progress on the outside. Now to work on the inside. I will have to send you an email with my address for stickers....

Your video is very useful for my CS300. By the way, where can I get one of those big cleaning brushes shown?
@@bobkendall3644 Got that brush at Harbor Freight years ago.
I have the exact same thing happening on my property in Northern California mountains. If you figure out ways to stop dirt bikers getting on or any tips, I would appreciate it!

@@GodDamnCreative-qo9us Seems no one was home when we got there.
That looks like it's working very well, I'd like to get one to do the vertical edges of my Woodchip road.
@@RossOnTheLand You may want a www.cutthat.com/product/sabre-samurai-cutter-2/ They came out with these after I bought the sickel bar mower. Put on your snow blower yet?
@@rockandrattleretreat5830 I'll have a look. No not yet. I have another month of cool weather I'll be cutting trees and mowing leaves first. Then I'll get ready for snow
Are you living up there for the build?
@@gwenchristensen3191 Seems like it, but we go home at least once a week for a day or two. No refrigerator, no washer and no long hot showers on the mountain.
That is a lot of vehicles! I am glad that road is being worked on.
@@memosaenz2809 Thanks for commenting. Road has not been worked on since it started raining.
'Everything got a bit of paint'. Back in the day when we had national service in the UK there was a saying......' if it moves, salute it, if it doesn't, then paint it ' .

Oh my gosh that waterfall, gorgeous! Boy New Zealand is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your trip I really enjoyed this video. Have a great day. Lisa
@@MoneypitHomestead Thanks for watching.
Thanks for watching, This was done two years ago inside and real life situation. You can determine in the video where the tab should be and it is dark in that area. Check your Bx25 in that area under the hood for the tab.
Can't see the tab...poor video
Psp! Psp. Psp. Here kitty, kitty!
Ya, tape noise is great....
Great Job! I love the background noise.
Did you have to cut the PTO shaft to get a good fit to your BX25?
@@dantekman Yes, the dealer cut the shaft for me.
Never been home but I was born in Wellington NZ, lived in Australia since 3, 2 Australian 🇦🇺 born brothers and my Mum Australian 🇦🇺 also. My dad on the other hand was Maori x Welsh. I was born in the hospital in Wellington that burnt down in the 80s and all records were burnt with it. Never Evan knew at the time, but I’ve NEVER been able to obtain a birth certificate. Never had one my entire life. Can’t get a passport and was LUCK to Evan get my license in Australia as u need a birth certificate or a passport for identification purposes. If I hadn’t gone to school in the same class with one of the people who work at VicRoads in 1983 when I was 18 and went for my license, I would never of been able to get one.

I’m not sure where you went but it sure looked beautiful. Have fun. Lisa
@@MoneypitHomestead It is beautiful, like a movie set. Thanks for watching.
@RossOnTheLand, thanks for the comment on my video on your channel. 👍
We’re you okay with that? I’d be afraid of breathing whatever they was spraying! But the chopper footage was cool to watch. The electric company came on our property and chopped down some limbs and trees close to their pole and didn’t let us know I was mad about that but I guess I didn’t have a say in it. Because they did what they had to do. Have a great day, lisa
When the chopper went straight overhead we dusted back in the shed and closed the door for a while. Thanks for commenting and watching.
Great video!
Thanks for watching and the comment.
Next siding?
Would love too, but delayed...
Wow! Seems to be moving faster now eh? That great room will be incredible.
Seems that way right now. But, another delay is coming. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the comment on your channel regarding my channel... it is progressing slowly. Still waiting on siding contractors to show up. How do your pigs like the new door? 😅😂😅😂
@@rockandrattleretreat5830 ah hoping it gets done before too much snow. The door is great I like it, and I gather the pigs will once the snow flies!
Looking good! Exciting update. Cheers have a good wekeend.
Thank you 😊
Unacceptable behavior. The entitlement from these people that they think it's ok to trespass on someone's property is incredible.
Yeah, definitely looks easier than what I was doing. 😂 👊
It will take a while to figure out all the tricks, but you will get there. Thanks for the comment.
I bought one today they could have at least gave us a chisel.
Nothing in my box either. Thanks for the comment.
I think its a given that the wind blows when house wrap goes up!😮 Looking great, ive heard so many complaints about GoPro, i libe my DJI Action. Have a great weekend.
It was blowing before they started. I will have to look into a different brand camera when my next gopro goes completely out. Thanks for the comment.
That's a HUGE turkey!
Looks like a normal size one to me
Keeping busy as always yikes! Looks awesome! Nice to have some help too!
Ah yes, that would not be good to build up into the bedroom view. Cheers
Thanks for watching.
What wt oil do you use and how many quarts? Got to do mine soon.
I use 15W-40 and about three quarts. Don't forget to get oil for a diesel engine and unless you have a 2009 Kubota BX25D you may need more or less oil and even a different wt oil, look in your owners manual or online.
Nice idea to cover the basement access. I was thinking instead of a "door" just hanging another smaller framed "wall" fixed in place to the roof that would also lift up with the hinged roof, and get heavier duty gas shocks to lift the roof and front wall as a single unit. Then it'd be a single move to unlock, and lift. Looks good thanks for sharing.
Good idea, but thought of that already and don't know if it will clear the outside of the wall in the front to land on that first step. The other reason is how do I lock and unlock it from the outside and Inside??? The thing is I am not done with it and you will have to wait along with me to find out what I haven't thought of yet.
@@rockandrattleretreat5830 you could use a center turning lever with rods or cables out to each side like on old garage doors with spring latches in stays on each side. But I bet it'd be right getting up to that part from inside. Maybe just build it taller and put an exterior door on it? Either way, I'm intrigued and am following along. Let's see what your mind comes up with
@@RossOnTheLand Can't build it taller due to the fact the bedroom is on that side of the house and the wife wants a view from there. See th-cam.com/video/xKFE61zhwTc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=DQQ3A60LSumUJJZZ at time code 7:33 and 8:46, When they poured the steps they said the same thing build a little vestibule with a full size door, later I looked out that bedroom opening and said a vestibule is going to hide the view....@#$@ I will check on the garage door bar, I had another idea but it would not unlock from the inside.

What type of roofing goes over the panels? It’s a house! Congratulations.
Any kind of Roofing can go over it. We are going to put metal Roofing panels on it. Thanks for the comment. 😉
It looks like Mr. White Jeep played around with the lock box at the south gate. Also, that ATV drove up to the top of the upper road.
ATV could not have went much past the last building on the road, since there is a tree down across the road.
Very Nice, can't wait to see it finished!
I can't wait also.
Looking good. I was nervous seeing the damage, but wow! Looks great seeing the plywood going on!
I was glad it could be fixed and the engineer said once the ridge beam, roof and windows goes on it will be a lot stiffer.
Didn’t tell you to run it first to heat up the oil. No mention of socket size.
Who has the exact tractor? Then a socket size might matter. Thanks for watching.
Not more Snow! ours is almost all gone here. That is wet and heavy. Did you ever think you would be shoveling out your basement...
The fact we had to shovel it out five times so far, hopefully we have it dried in before it snows again. Thanks for the comment😃
