Hey everybody, in this video I went out to Waterloo, AL to start what would end up being probably my most favorite trail thus far in Alabama. Pebble beach, end of the world, and rainbow falls were some of the prettiest views that lead you from northwestern AL, through southern Tennessee. Lots of water crossings and fun trails to explore, definitely recommend. Hope you guys are enjoying these vi...

OVERLANDING ALABAMA'S BANKHEAD NATIONAL FORREST
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
Hi everybody, this is Gavin with G-Money Overlanding. This video is just me and a buddy going out to explore some of the Bankhead National Forrest in north western Alabama. It was super chilly but we had a blast. Hope this video makes you guys want to go explore it as well. Played around with a new drone and got some cool shots too.
Crap sucks doesn't it.
Definitely not my favorite weather but man the snow is beautiful
5:36 do you have the coordinates?
Here you are, 34.29701, -87.27017
My apologies, thought your comment was on a different video. These are the correct coordinates 34.9101, -88.06368
I’ve done these trails numerous times over the years. I live about an hour or so south of there. My favorite ride was in my CanAm Maverick 1000R. We went through the one deepest water crossing and had water in our laps as we went across. I saved our routes on our Lifetime TrailMaps
If you didn't actually camp, it's trail riding and not overlanding. Please update title to reflect because I am searching for actual overlanding where people camp as overlanding is
@@Foof50 if you actually watch the video there are several campsites I show where you can “overland”.
Hi Gavin! Where exactly did you and your buddy camp at? Hubby and I are looking for the campground and we can’t locate it - thank you! 🌟
The campground is called the Brushy creek recreational area located in Bankhead nantional Forrest!
We camp in the sipsy section very often 🤙 some awesome hiking trails through there
Do you have the route files or details. I am in bham and would love to hit this up.
I'm a local of this area. Next time your around I can show you some more of the trails and beauty of this place.
Thanks for the video... liked and subscribed!
Yeahhhh Isaac’s my older brother. Def cool brother to have😂
I’ve never met anyone like your brother my friend 😂
Nice!
Where was that in Georgia, with all the tubing? Looks awesome! Need to get there this summer for sure. Great video!
@@jordananderson5159 so the tubing was just inside North Carolina, it’s along the nantahala river! We just took the Georgia traverse up through GA to get to North Carolina.
amazing trip
What GPS mapping are you using? I mainly use onX but also have Gaia
@@jakeasher7113 I use ON-X as well
Isaac’s comedic moments were killer
Awesomeness!!! Thank you.
Great Video! Good to see somebody else local making content!
Great video. Would definitely consider going to talladega national forest 🤙
very cool cleaning up that trash. I wish more people would do that. Great video.
Bro that one water spot was beautiful. Definitely need to get the guys out there
I caught one of your videos that popped up in my feed a couple weeks ago, good stuff. I been searching for your channel since I forgot to write it down. I sub'd !
BNF is beautiful. Love it in the wintertime.
Was my first time ever visiting, visuals did not disappoint going in winter that’s for sure
Looked fun. Ice and mud, ya! Good stuff. I was thinking of 35" AT3 XLTs but wasn't sure how they'd do on the trails. How's yours doing? Thanks
I’ve got some Cooper’s that did just fine! (I go over them in better detail in my other video)Besides me not being experienced with driving on ice and slipping/sliding a couple times lol.
you should do another walkthrough next time youre out camping so we can see her in action
