    JocelynJocelyn... Try learning Malay (bahasa Melayu) in one week. About 1000 words are similar to Tagalog.... Eg anak. Lima, takut, Aku. Batu. Mahal etc. However the grammatical structure is much simplified. In the last 50 years Modern Standard Malay also absorbed thousands from English loan words. Eg Aseksual (asexual), gender, hipertensi. Intensif (intensive), final, militari, kulinari, emosional, profesional, revolusi..... 😊 It is understood in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, South Thailand n Indonesia... ie by around 300 million people. *_Cuba_* la!!! (try it out)...

    Ang galing ng Tagalog ka lalo na sa pitong araw. Gumagana ng iyong pamamaraan. Nagbabalik ako ng nagaaral ng Tagalog pagkatapos ng mahabang pahinga. Salamat sa inspirasyon. Ipinanganak ako sa U.S. at ang Tagalog ko ay napaka-rusty sa kabila maraming Filipino dito. Mas madali at mas komportable na tumugon na Ingles. I totally get it.

  • @polarflaps

    I just realized why this lens doesnt really give the same effect on an a6400. I own an a6400 and also recently build this lens. Because the aps-c sized sensor has a crop factor of 1.5x, it crops out most of the vignetting and chromatic aberration that gives it the vintage look. Kida unfortunate, but it still looks kinda cool.

    Really - could be Talaga "I really studied Tagalog" - Nag aral talaga ako ng tagalog Know (as in to know an info) - malaman Know (as in to know a skill) - marunong So in your sentence where you said "Gusto kong MARUNONG kung saan ka tumira sa Pilipinas" it should be "Gusto kong malaman kung saan ka tumira sa Pilipinas"

    Everything that you’re saying about gender neutral that’s not all true. It all depends on where you go to in the Philippines, because the word biute means gay in the Philippines as well and that is for boys not gay girls. You have a lot of misinformation in this video.

  • @punklejunk
    @punklejunk ปีที่แล้ว

    The brilliance of this video is that you have put together a really efficient system for diving into learning any language, Tagalog specifically. It is a language that, due to its mottled history, is notoriously all over the place. Modular word order, fast-evolving slang, borrowed foreign words, and multiple verb modes (not just tense) are enough to confuse and intimidate newcomers. There's no central, monolithic standard of learning (even in the Philippines) , but your video is a fantastic place to start. ;;Being musical also helps much more than you think-- fun songs repeated throughout the day are effective tools in reinforcing vocabulary and usage. Movies are also great: comedy movies usually have LOTS of visual slapstick so the entry level to understanding them is pretty low. (Learning-wise, ignore the wackier characters and listen to the plainer-sounding dialog-- say, parents and older siblings) :: Thank you so much for making this.
