I felt it all, thank you so much for putting this out there. I was a season ticket holder during the early 80s and got to experience post season baseball for the playoffs and World Series. In a way, 86 was both a blessing and a curse, because I never felt the connection to any Met team since 86, and I stopped watching/following the Mets after 2015. This 2024 team though, they are pulling me back in and it feels pretty damn good, like a long lost love made her way back to me. I’m not comparing the 2 teams, but I am comparing the connection and it t feels like 1984 all over.

We should adopt the European habit of going for walks with friends frequently! I'm Canadian but some of the best times I had while living in the UK were when my European friends invited me out for walks. What I thought would be an hour at most turned into 3 lol, Europeans are not afraid of long conversations, spending time with people and getting close is ingrained into their culture. They're open minded and direct. We could learn from that.
