Cars and Chrome is dedicated to bringing you up close and personal with classic vehicles at Car Shows, Cruise-ins, Autoramas and any other car related stuff that I may share. I got bit by the car hobby bug ever since I received my first Hot Wheels toy car when I was 8 years old.
I have owned and restored many classic cars over the past 40 years and currently own a 1968 el Camino SS 396 that I have had since 1989 which I have completely restored. Still to this day, I enjoy the hobby and the great people that are involved in it.
I have been passionate about cars, Photography, and videography for most of my life. I have now decided to combine these passions and start up this channel to bring to you some outstanding classic car and related videos. This was shot in Historic Depot Town, Ypsilanti, Michigan during one of their Thursday night cruise events that they hold weekly throughout the summer. It's a nice get together of good people, classic cars and good food at many of the restaurants on that street and in the area.

My first dream cruise was 1997. I've missed a few, but I've been to most since 97. It never gets old. A car guy's dream. There's something for every motor head. They've been tamed down since the early years, but you'll still see a few burnouts here and there.

These days I was so happy because my dad has a 1988 Lincoln town car and we live in Pontiac MI and we came to these shows and he vloged it go to puro morelos y Michigan

In cruising for 3 years with my military (turreted) Humvee … never shown up on a video. Guess it’s too bland.

I seen it this year in pontiac very cool
I guess I missed it somehow. I was in Pontiac from about 9 to maybe 10:30AM before I started moving South. I also didn't see the skull car or the upside-down van. 🙁
@@carsandchrome I didn't see no upside down car van either. Many drivers don't do the whole cycle from Pontiac to Ferndale. The main event seems to be focused on Royal Oak to 🤔 Bloomfield Hills???
This was the first year that I started in Pontiac and worked my way to Royal Oak. It just seemed like the chance of rain kept the attendance down some for people bringing out their classic cars. Thanks for watching!
