I'd say MSFS is better graphically. Also, MSFS has ATC, which this sim does not. Finally, MSFS has dynamic weather. So it's better in those three categories. Aerofly runs smoother because it doesn't have those things, it runs like a dream in VR, and the flight characteristics seem more realistic to me. Also, it has a nice set of aircraft. So it depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I like having them both, but use them for different purposes. Hopefully, this helps.

Actually, I have not. I think I looked at it before and wasn't convinced it was true coop,so I passed. I think it also had mediocre ratings, so I dropped it from my list. If you have any insight, I would welcome it. I think I should check out some gameplay videos to get a better idea.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either! I've been looking for something truly coop for some time, like the old Battlefield 1942 days, and this ticks all of the boxes. It works really well, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm hoping to put a lot more of it on the channel.

Thank you! Actually, the pilot voice is not part of the simulator. I set that up on the side myself, when I pressed a button. I suppose I should have mentioned that. There are a couple of tutorials in the sim, and there is accompanying instruction on their web page. However, I'm not all that good at reading off of one screen, and flying on the other; I don't really have that kind of setup. So I copied and pasted the text into a web page called TTS Maker. I output the voice file and set it up to play when I hit a certain key on my keyboard. As far as the pilot model, they come standard in certain aircraft. I think there's two or three generic pilots, and they appear in the pilot seat for external views, and they show up in the cockpit when you sit in the right seat. Hopefully, this helps. I'm hoping to do a lot more of these, but probably only a few with the AI instruction overlay.

Hi dmo, I use the wheel included on the Logitech Autopilot Multipanel. It's not ideal, but it gets the job done. The only problem I have is that I mount it to my right, snd so some times I have to reach over quite a bit to trim, so it's not where you would expect to reach out for it. www.logitechg.com/en-us/products/flight/flight-simulator-autopilot-multipanel.945-000028.html

Beautiful area, it was a blast! The weather was awesome! It really was smoother than my commercial flights in and out.

Oh, it's a great game. The maps are huge! You can't just go anywhere, as they only model out certain roads. And the scale is 1/20. So you drive what looks like 5 miles in the game, and you've gone 100 square miles. But they do a great job with it all. I love it. I'm actually more fond of American Truck Simulator, but maybe there's some patriotic pride there.

Hey, sorry to take so long to respond. I can't be certain, but I think you need to cycle the CDI button options at the bottom of the panel until it comes back. I think.

I don't know, off the top of my head. It's been a while since I've flown in this sim. I'm looking into getting back into it very soon though. Good luck!

I can do that! The only thing I didn't like, is how they have takeoffs and landing in an A-320 before IFR training; which makes no sense. But I'm game. It's off to gliding next! I'd also like to do the showcases and bush flights as well, although I'll probably do the latter with Matt.

Cool, thanks man. I didn't feel like it was my best run though. In fact, I was racking up a short stack of citations for going too long without rest, and I clipped that one car changing lanes. But other than that, it was pretty good. :-D

Thanks, I appreciate it! Maybe I'll start reading bedtime stories to help people sleep. ;-) I'm running on an Alienware X-51 R3. It's a compact tower, so I run my GTX 2060 card out of Alienware's external graphics amplifier. I have 32 Gigs of RAM and 12 of VRAM, and it's on an i-5, although I can't tell you what generation off the top of my head. I'm rendering at 1080p because that's my upload specs anyway, and I've tried to push the graphics on this before, and couldn't get rid of the stutter. Since I installed my SSD, and reinstalled, by performance is great. So I just pulled my hands back an didn't touch a thing. Thanks for watching! It definitely helps to have a pilot friend (Matt) to guide us through these bush trips though.
