As a lover of the history of the Second World War and a Russian-speaking person, I can assume that the indigenous Latvians, Lithuanians or Estonians had non-Russian first and last names, such as Orlov or Dmitry.

​@@tommygsgamingchannel It would be more correct to assume that soldiers from all over the Soviet Union fought side by side. St. Petersburg at that time was called Leningrad, Novgorod - Gorky, and many other cities. Basically, in the game, the allies on the Eastern Front have the names and surnames of soldiers from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.

Thanks for the information Ghosty! I've amended my spreadsheet. I'm adding more Russian towns, and taking out the Baltic ones. And I've corrected Lenningrad and Gorky. They should be more realistic going forward. Any additional recommendations would be welcomed. Thanks for watching!

I wouldn't know about the regulation. I can tell you they put the following airports in, two of which are DLC. Vagar Airport Keflavik Airport Warsaw Chopin Airport Key West Airport Rovaniemi Airport Bologna Airport The latter is the only I don't have yet.

Yeah, I'm going to have to return to the game as well. This video was recorded some time ago, so there have been many updates. For me, the challenge is trying to remember all of the button combinations available. I can think in my head exactly what I should do and when, but it takes me a second or two to try and figure out how to make that happen on the controller, and by then it's way too late. I end up sitting there, absorbing punches, or worse, leaning into them. lol

Thanks! I can't believe I made it until the last few moments. 10 seconds later, and I would have survived. I was out of ammo except for the pistol, and I was trying to get near my machine gunner to request ammunition when he got it. I thought I could reach him while prone, but then took fire from the last wave, and couldn't back into the crater deep enough. Oh well.

Thanks Hernan! I normally go no HUD on the single-player, because it looks better, and then switch to HUD when playing with my buddies so I can keep up with where I'm supposed to be. But I like that you can switch on the fly. I might try that and just switch it on occasionally to see if my squad leader has me assigned somewhere I'm not. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry for the delay. I have an old Dell Alienware X-51 R3 with an external graphics amplifier. It's not a bad PC, but nothing super serious. I can run higer resolution, but since my uploads are 1080 P, I tend to record at that resolution. Specs to follow. Cool! I've never been to Colorado Springs. I've driven past it before. I know they did a good job with Denver and Fort Collins, so I figured they'd do well with CO Springs. They've been really accurate for every other place I've been, so it's fun to see the places I haven't (IRL). It gives you a good feel for what it's really like there. They do a great job.

There's a setting somewhere to project a render from one of your "eyes" to your screen. I then Use OBS to record, and set the source to Aerofly FS 4. But before I can upload it to TH-cam, I run it through a filter in my editing software to remove camera shake. It takes a little while to render, but there you go!

I'd say MSFS is better graphically. Also, MSFS has ATC, which this sim does not. Finally, MSFS has dynamic weather. So it's better in those three categories. Aerofly runs smoother because it doesn't have those things, it runs like a dream in VR, and the flight characteristics seem more realistic to me. Also, it has a nice set of aircraft. So it depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I like having them both, but use them for different purposes. Hopefully, this helps.

Actually, I have not. I think I looked at it before and wasn't convinced it was true coop,so I passed. I think it also had mediocre ratings, so I dropped it from my list. If you have any insight, I would welcome it. I think I should check out some gameplay videos to get a better idea.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either! I've been looking for something truly coop for some time, like the old Battlefield 1942 days, and this ticks all of the boxes. It works really well, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm hoping to put a lot more of it on the channel.

Thank you! Actually, the pilot voice is not part of the simulator. I set that up on the side myself, when I pressed a button. I suppose I should have mentioned that. There are a couple of tutorials in the sim, and there is accompanying instruction on their web page. However, I'm not all that good at reading off of one screen, and flying on the other; I don't really have that kind of setup. So I copied and pasted the text into a web page called TTS Maker. I output the voice file and set it up to play when I hit a certain key on my keyboard. As far as the pilot model, they come standard in certain aircraft. I think there's two or three generic pilots, and they appear in the pilot seat for external views, and they show up in the cockpit when you sit in the right seat. Hopefully, this helps. I'm hoping to do a lot more of these, but probably only a few with the AI instruction overlay.

Hi dmo, I use the wheel included on the Logitech Autopilot Multipanel. It's not ideal, but it gets the job done.
