Not sure why you said nothing to do for kids. My 3 kids absolutely love it every year because there is so much to do. Very family friendly. Must be the part of the season you have caught it being quiet. 6weekhols it's booming for kids 😊

we had this model in Yarmouth with Sun holidays it was great for what it cost

It doesn't matter what you have paid, it should be 100% decent.

Just had my first haven holiday at golden sands this weekend and loved it! I’ll be splashing out for the silver next time

wow just from looking at it and i stopped the vid at 0:18 for a bronze at this site to the one you had at burnham ...big difference looks realy nice and you even got some decking! im wondering if haven are slowly doing a refit/ upgrade to all ther price bandinfg as in saver,bronze etc across all thier parks as the caravans under the difrent bands seem to differ so so much from park to park? could be that the smaler quieter sites are getting upgraded 1st and the buisier larger parks will be don last if thats the case as OBV the larger sites bring in more revenue! just my thoughts on the big discrpancies from park to park and what is considered a saver,bronze,silve, gold etc? Also something i noticed was the fire extingusher ..i dont remember seeing one in our gold at burnham? was it your own? if we did have one it was hidden away and we never found it or i was just blind as a bat and need my glasses changing (hopefull its my glasses that need changing lol ) ...If not then thats realy great if you actual god forbid needed it!

Just watching this one after your vid on the Bronze at Skegness! so i wont reapeat my comments as you will be able to read them on that vid abot our stay at burnham! thank you for filming all the haven caravans and sites you have stayed in .... I do have to say burnham is a lovely park , the only complaints / nags we had were for the life of us we couldnt get the haven app to download to our phones, when checking in we were just given directions to the caravan , nothing was siad abut stripping the beds etc when you leave (I SUPPOSE THATS TO HELP CLEANING STAFF) so OBV we didnt do that! ..also that for a stay from Friday to monday morning the Mash and Barrell (only place to eat on camp till pappa johns,burger king and cooks chippy opend at 4 or 5 pm) so on saturday morning they had run out of sausages for the breakfasts and also had NO steak available all weekend so that also excluded having the mixed grill on the menu too ...you would think if weekends are busier they would get thier stock levels right for the resuturant! the ONLY other thing we had was a caravan behind us that was for sale One of the better ones obv it was owned by haven so was a sort of show caravan that was facing our main bedroom window and Haven had the lights switched on 24/7 as the living room faced our back bedroom so we had to close the curtains at night just to stop the light streaming in)those were the only niggles we had tbh at burnham! P.S after watching this and the skegness vid you have a new subscriber!

I think haven make it up as they go along tbh lol! I ain't been on a haven site since i was a kid in the 80s (cala gran blackpool back then it was a great site BUT with a fabulous view of the ICI chemical works at one end and the now closed branch line to fleetwood) ANYHOW i digress .....im NOW 54 and we booked a gold caravan at the burnham on sea site (as i now live in bristol) for my birthday weekend Friday 28th june 2024 to monday morning the area we stay in was holli way (apartently they used to be saver one there but have redevolped the area into gold etc in 2023 /2024 ( the map still had saver caravans on it lol) .....I do have to say was impressed by it untill i got home and saw other YT vids on the gold and silver ones ...we had 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) BUT the ensuit didnt have a shower just toielt and sink .....NOW im not compalining as the caravan was spotless etc BUT iv seen vids where they had 2 bathrooms and both had showers (gold and silver) ...and then i saw a vid by somersetmanwalking and they had a gold carvan in the doniford park YOU seriously have to see the vid to belive it! i was in shock in a good way (44 min drive down from the burnham one) cost them £250 for 4 days (admitidly mid week) we paid £350 at burnham fri to monday ..well the caravan they got was more like a platinum had all the mod cons , dishwasher mcrowave etc which we had BUT they also had a washing machine ( something we didnt get) they very kndly replied to my comment as i said WOW etc and they told me even they were surprised and thought they had been give the wrong caravan! WOULD I DO HAVEN AGIAN? tbh yes very probably BUT it does seem hit and miss on the difrent sites as to what cravan goes into wish pricde band , standard,bronze,silver,gold and platinum!

Blood On the double duvet comes free at Golden Sands. There last year unfortunately never saw it until I removed duvet cover at end of stay. Booked two caravan got one at each end of park. Management would not do any thing to help

Next time try Haven in Hopton on sea in Norfolk its a great place to come and stay for a few days right near the sea 🌊 I'm a caravan cleaner for Haven Hopton from Alan Shelley in Lowestoft 😊

Hi may I ask where this is on golden sands we go in June and booked a bronze 8 birth

When we stayed on the Park we really enjoyed our break there the caravan was great apart from the mattress on the double bed was old and thin and very uncomfortable, so we used the the beds in the other bedrooms as the mattresses was a lot deeper and more comfortable.

Can't believe they charge different for saver and bronze yet they're both the same it appears?

Haven only took over the site last year and you’ve got to expect work and improvements to be on going to bring aspects of the Haven brand to the site for example entertainment and restaurants and with that there will be teething issues. The site does look well maintained. ❤

Absolutely enormous !! What impressed me was the organised layout , the tidiness of the place ,beautifully kept lawn area , no piles of rubbish or litter laying about and the other good thing was , all on the flat ,no hills or steps to climb . Nice Vid' good photography and well presented ,let's have some more please !

As a child in the late 60's we were the 5th family to rent a plot on Bib Cook's Rhichmond Drive site in Skeggy , our caravan was transit van size on wheels. Not even gas lit we had an oil lamp, [I stil have] listenig to the radio. When it opend in Easter I lost a welly in the mud and the snow coming back from the toilet block. I wish I could upload my photos from those days, Robbie my dog and me on a Social Cycle, Us with our 50"s Ford pop, Proper holidays.

It would appear that people that book saver and bronze are just being put in whatever they have available at the time of booking regardless of the grade that you select. The silver grade they can't really do that because they have verandas with double doors at the front leading onto the verandas. Can't wait to see a tour of a silver grade as I am very intrigued now, lol. Hope you don't have any further bad experiences as you're supposed to be on holiday and just want to enjoy your time away.

Hi. You said you was going to book the basic one next time which is the saver caravan, did you go down that option and if so what did you think? I've just got back from Golden Sands and stayed in a saver caravan and I can honestly say I wouldn't recommend it if you like your comfort, rock hard seats and the double bed wasn't so great either.

Keep your kids with you. Know where they are at all times. I cannot stress this enough. Anybody visiting Skegness. Two members of a child traffiking ring stalked our teens with cameras. We reported it to the police. We left Skegness pronto. The kids are traumtised. Skegness is s very wicked place.

Check your invoice.....looks like you were put in a Bronze....doesnt look like a Saver...might be wrong

Seems no 2 caravans the same. I had saver caravan 65, next row, but no TV on wall (had smaller TV on cabinet), no double fridge, no hairdrier, no curtain on door. I think you got lucky, all the saver vans I had in past not like yours!

Its not new its the old Richmond caravan park 😂

Caravan looked OK, bit surprised you couldn't turn the radiators off as the boiler clearly has a controller which I know has 3 settings on it: timer, aways on and off, I can only assume it was set to always on?, And you could also have just turned the temperature down on the boiler, failing that I would have contacted reception.
