Meu avô paterno, pessoa a qual faço remissão todas as vezes em que escuto essa música. Ficou surpreso ao escuta-la durante um passeio que fizemos ao museu nacional de Roma-Itália. A vida me reservou a oportunidade de presenciar aquele momento em que, de certa forma, foi muito especial para ambos. As an Italian, I have never listened to a worse conducted version of this wonderful music than this one. Simply ridiculous. This should be the desperate song of enslaved people, suffering because they lost their home country; and they made it sound like a mazurka. The music itself will forever be glorious, but this performance is outrageous, and the encore is truly the cherry on top of not knowing what this music means.
