That river has been the same color all my life. The vines are Kudzu. They are invasive, but edible. Why would you call someone's dog into the road? Please don't do that. Thanks for the video.

Ah...my home province. The small gas engine used as a starter was known as a 'pup engine'. As an ancilliary engine it could be used for other purposes such as a water pump or any other small attachment availible. In the marine industry, where I worked, air starters are popular starting devices - basically failproof (shh...I didn't say that) Good luck on your road trip.

I love Cadomin I was going there pretty much every weekend to do hiking & photography & do a ton of off roadin.. if u would of went through the town & follow the road u would of came to mountain Park which was a coal mining town in 1950’s & keep following the road & u would hit cardinal divide tons of hiking there.. cardinal River was a coal mine for like 40yrs then it turned into Teck which they closed down a couple years ago. But drive there in the summer not the winter haha..

Your build is good and I hope you keep with the updates. That is sweet to already have a heater in the van. That is a big step out of the way! I hope to some day have access to a large van to do such a build. That's a nice tip about getting some cheap econoline vans. I have some real basic ideas list I keep for a possible van build in the future. For the floor on the top surface I considered raising the lip so if there's a spill it at least guides it to a drain / vent for emergency. Agree about avoiding trying to make vapor barrier; I've heard ventilation helps best with reducing moisture.

That is a good idea for the rear door vent. The van looks nice. I like to think about van life for some point in the future. Some people put two vents on one and and two fans on the other. A fan on each and could have their directions reversed to have total van airflow.
