@@EmperorOf ca sa nu imi bat capul. uite aici explicatia de pe reddit. Works of art, film, and literature are products of their time, which means they intentionally or unintentionally contain elements of the time they were based in. When sometimes "ages well," it means that these time specific works are still understood and appreciated outside of the context they were created. I think the most common example of ageing well and not ageing well is found how minority are portrayed. For example, there might be an old movie were a husband casually slaps his wife around because she's be uppity. Back when the movie was made, this was common and accepted, but now, it's hard not to cringe when watching that; that movie did not age well. Another example is referencing popular culture. Some elements of popular culture are long lasting, some exist for a short period of time then disappear. For example, do you remember planking? Imagine if they made a movie about planking. Twenty years from now, nobody would have a clue what that movie was about; it would not age well. However, some pop culture is longer lasting. For example, Elvis was supper popular in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, and people still know about him today. Movies of that time that referenced Elvis would have aged okay because us in the 2010s know enough about him to get the reference.
