The water in Thailand is not pulluted! Girl - do not mislead people by your Lack of information. The water in Thailand has Hi Clorine than in USA. That is why you can not drink. It is for cleaning GIrl ... get it right

All true. The tissue issue! That's what the "bum gun" or large container of water is for, to wash yourself after the toilet. Cheap is true and if you don't drink alcohol it's very cheap, you would probably half your food and drink costs.

Are you living there long term? What are you doing about the visa situation? I work as freelance animator in the U.S. Since I work from home, I feel like it makes more since to live in Thailand and work online from there.
Micah Buzan i actually just left a couple days ago but I lived there for 6 months. every 3 months you have to leave the country so your visa will restart. the visa is for 60 but you go to the immigration office and file for 30 day extention. which gives you a total 90 days each time you re-enter. if you are in south thailand its easier/cheaper to do your visa run in Malaysia. if you are in northern thailand than lao is easiest
