First Call of the Season, Opening Day - Thermal Deer Recovery
We received our first recovery call of the season on the rainy evening of opening day here in Ohio! The hunter knew he made good contact with the shot, but was certain that he most likely accidentally hit high shoulder. We arrived to find what we did not want to.
With the drone we were able to closely observe the wound without bumping him, resulting in him remaining on the property.
We will be documenting all of our recoveries this season. Follow along!

Another successful year for the Lake Cumberland Thunder Run! Included are scenes from the Friday/ Sid Bell Falls bonus card stop, the Saturday starting heats @the Main Lake, the 76 Falls card stop, and State Dock! Due to the amount of debris this year, a lot of the boats never made it to 76 Falls out of precaution. Enjoy!

Many from this group get together days in advance to attend events, and visit cool destinations before the weekend! Heavy Snow Thermal Drone Deer Recovery - Injured Buck

An early morning recovery mission in heavy snow looking for what was suspected to be an injured buck from an accidental shoulder shot. We confirmed that suspicion and were able to supply the hunter with a likely location that he could check when we left. He let us know he was successful!
