Where is the water coming from?
Cute cat😊
Thx sucker for wasting your money on solar!
I'd reserve this comment for solar homes in stable grid areas, struggling to make ROI before the panels fail and have to be replaced in a never-ending subsidized cycle. Having convenient power generated wherever you go, isn't much of a waste, if all you care about is having a maintainable lifestyle.
@@Roobotics Barely any power generated you mean. If you cant aim the panel perfectly at the sun the efficiency drops to under 10%. Easier to buy a generator and a fuel tank....this problem has already been fixed but you kamala voters are suckers. I have money invested into solar companies cause of the money spent on pushing solar garbage is immense and there is a sucker born everyday.
I had an ROI after 5 years given I have a bigger base load of around 250W. So thx sucker for not understanding solar and keeping demand low enough to still drop panel prices. You can get 800W complete sets für around 200 bucks now. Even my grandpa would have a fast ROI only watching TV...
@@NavySeal2k You cant even do math. School has really failed in your country.
😂😂😂😂
Nice work
It was a lot of work!
You got a fan from Bulgaria❤😀🤙🏼
Thats sooo cool, welcome 😃
Looks great good work and well laid out👍👏
It’s all starting to come together!
wait so you sh!t & shower in the same spot literally? that's gnarly but you're doing you.
I guess the idea of that isn’t for you, than traveling across the country in a van is out of the question 😂
@wadeanddani I mean I can always travel across the country in a van and just stay at hotels you know.
Clear skies required, huh? Thats kijda lame at over 100 a month. Ill wait til ryan reynolds signs on and gets it down to 15
We didn’t have any issues with clouds. It was great for us. I would say thou, if your in a gully the mountains can give you some issues
what starlink plan did u subscribe to ?
We had the roam one.
You live in a van for content
No, we lived in a van to explore Australia
Bad ,it's owned by thief musk. Not a cent from me
I am in Afghanistan and just decided to buy one But here only one conpany have the device at 1600$ 😑 Can anyone help me that where i can buy the device.
Thats crazy. We bought ours from starlink.
On the Starlink availability map it shows that Afghanistan doesn’t have starlink coverage and doesn’t look like it ever will
Well organized. Good work!
Thanks so much, we can see it turning into our new home 😃
I was at Pinnacles about 10 years ago and there were signs that campervans were not allowed in. Has that changed? Would be magical to drive in with a camper
At the time we end, there was so signs about that. It’s a pretty amazing place 😃
I love you cat❤
He is he best, so chill
Q: Why that colour? Does it have special properties that protect the van or some military related reason?
We like the colour so we went with it and love how it has turned out
@wadeanddani Absolutely wasn't expecting this reply but each to their own, glad you like it!
Interesting. Not sure about the placement of the litter box: next to the passengers and in the path between front and rear.
Yeah I know, unfortunately there aren’t many options. It will have s lid as well. We had it in the same spot in our last van and worked out well 😃
Never sundry paints or glue. As u see it will become uneven and it will break much more often bc some parts dry faster than others. for glue those drying times are very important, so the parts stick properly and durable together. Learnt it the hard way as well 😅
We definitely did 🤦♂️ lesson learnt
As a 70 yr old who has enjoyed making all sorts of things over the years.. I would always consider doing most (complicated) jobs twice..Primarily to prove principals and show unknown failure points.. Firstly use cheap materials and then when it works .. Use better materials and the job normally goes surprisingly quickly.
What a useful and wise tip. Even in our fast world this learns you the most and the second try will go much faster and leads to better results anyways
Hi wade, I’m having issues with my set up when using our 2000w induction cook top with a 2000w inverter and 200ah battery. We have used an air fryer and coffee pod machine with no dramas but now with the induction it draws the battery down to sleep mode. What appliance caused you to figure out the continues draw was the issue?
Hey mate, this could be a few things. Some that come to mind is to check the cable thickness from the inverter to the batteries, it needs to be thick enough to hold a min 170 amps, make sure all the connections are good. What battery do you have? Check the specs to see if it can handle over 170 amps continuous discharge
@ thanks for the reply mate. The wire size is plenty thick enough and only a short run. I have all itechworld with a 200ah slimline I’m thinking it may be continuous draw but the battery has a 250a draw so I’m not to sure. I am working with itechworld at the moment to diagnose so hopefully we can get to the bottom of the problem. I’m thinking I might just go back to a gas cooker as it seemed to be the issue and draw down tests seem fine at this point, unless it’s an inverter issue.
@@timgarrett2787 Dam, it sounds like it could be a complicated one. Its possible that it could be the inverter, Is that also from Itechword? It might be worth also checking if the lugs heat up when using it, that could mean poor quality lugs and tripping the BMS in the battery. It was also our cooktop that was also tripping our old batteries when on it was onhigh. We changed to the 240Pro itechworld batteries, upgraded the cable size and lugs and never had any more issues.
@ thanks mate I will talk to itech world again and see how they want me to test the inverter. Appreciate your replies and info mate cheers.

Sorry for the question but can you go number 1 and 2 at the same time? 😂 Im serious tho
😂 yeah you can at the same time
Choose a 2 in 1, I did, less work, less cash, as effective, simple. Don't mindlessly copy this dodo mat thing.
Interesting, what product did you go for?
Not to put this creator down, this is a great video, but I just wanna give people who are seeing these videos hope that you can live on the road in an SUV. You can live on the road in a sedan, you can live on the road in a Toyota Corolla. You can live in whatever vehicle you have that allows you to create the space and if it also allows you to travel then great. These ppl are the one percenters of people who actually live on the road. People who may be or maybe didn’t work hard for their money to be able to afford a Mercedes vehicle or a extremely expensive vehicle to live out of. It’s not realistic for most people unfortunately and if you are wanting to get on the road and wanting more relatable content look for smaller channels that are little bit more down-to-earth, and more realistic because it is more attainable for the average person. However, props for the editing on this video!
I appreciate your perspective and totally agree that you don't need a fancy vehicle to live on the road. It's all about creating the space and making it work for you!
you have amazing setup!! i am browsing videos now for inspiration and yours is top! with cat, the best ♥
Wow, thank you!
Good one! Mind sharing the planning map.
I’ll have to make a video about it sometime
The cat is so cute ❤❤❤what is his name
Jon snow. He is pretty chill
ye he is chill most cats when they’re sleeping their eyes open on guard at the fact that is still sleeping means that he really trusts you either way have you got any tips on how to build a van? I am only a 12-year-old kid, but I have a dream of living in a short wheelbase sprinter van when I am older judging from your van conversion, you seem to have a lot of experience. Do you think you could help me out?😁😁😁
Celui là est magnifique,je l'adore
Thanks soo much
More expensive than i would've thought. Nanas are che
Yeah some things are but I also guess it depends on where to your comparing to
Great conversation 👌
Thanks a lot 😀
Amazing content throughout the channel. Cannot believe you don't have more views...
Oh thanks for the kind words 😊 I think we just need to be more consistent with it and hopefully it could grow
That's madness.. 170 a month.. Is everything in America soooo expensive. Here in Southern Africa we pay around 50 usd a month for it
Oh no way, that’s sooo cheap. We are in Australia so it’s AUD. It’s definitely expensive but in super remote areas there are no other choices if you want to get internet
Just a quick question. How much did everything cost? Estimate?
It was just over $2,000 but also not including our labor. It took us about a week to finish
176, it's a good start however double it and you are getting closer to what's needed (Australia)
Where are we putting double 😂 we had 110 in our last van that we lived in for over 2 years in Australia and it was enough but obviously it’s nicer to have more
@@wadeanddani Where? Up to you, A suitable water tank one could suggest, specifically manufactured for location utilising unoccupied space as done with long range fuel tanks. As for travelling with 175, in Australia. If you just stay on the black and town hoping ever couple of days, ( that sounds like a real exiting tour 😏) then ok however spending time in one locations or going remote 175L is inadequate. Infact in some cases negligent.
@@0Aus They guys do this for a living, I'm sure they'll be fine...
@@jamooo stress not. Brief research will quickly provide the minimum water requirements for remote travelling Australia. As stated if you don't go remote 170L sure. If remote two or more individuals, not silly just wilfully negligent. 👍
How did you guys make the shower
It doesn’t show it in this video but we have framed it up with ply so far. Still need to waterproof paint and finish the walls to seal it up
Missed an important step... mask the van inside and out before cutting so the metal particles dont get in the seals, in the trim, and everywhere they will eventually rust and degrade anything soft in your new (or new to you) van. Also, whats with the double adhesive lines, it looks like you have created the perfect channel for water to get trapped in. If you need a second line to support the glass and join it to the other line, there should be an exit to the bottom right.
Thanks for the tips 😁
Kitty is so chill!
He is the best 😃
Kia carnival seats
What are they?
Just put 10ohm resistor where the seat sensor is. Problem solved
I put a 3.3 ohm one. Maybe my research was wrong and put the wrong one 😭
Them new seats look amazing. I bet it makes it feel like the van is just gliding along. Good for long trips.
They are so comfy, we didn’t know we needed them till we got them 😂
Get your own diagnostics machine so you can then plug in and clear faults as you like, and it also comes in handy when you visit garages for around 100 to 200 quid
That’s a good idea. I will do a google for a good one
Need to bridge the pressure sensor, just remove the sensor and join the cables, it's an N/O sensor
Ohh is it that simple? I was reading up about needing a resistor
@@wadeanddani only if there is a resistor on the switch. Usually they are pressure sensors with a pad style compression switch, which will just close the circuit. Just basing this off a pressure switch in an older 2004 jeep. Legit just bridged it and the seatbelt sensor, worked like a charm
The cat was like ya vis is mi home, vats my craizee hooman
love it ❤ and that cat is amakgm
*amazing
He is living his best life
Those errors are with either a fuse or what I would do cut the wire off the old seats and just plug it in if it’s just plugged in I wonder it it would stop but just plug it in before cutting so you don’t end up costing more money
I already sold the other seats 😔 I am told that I might be able to add resistors and get the code cleared and should be ok. Fingers crossed 🤞
Modern smart electronics = headaches!
So true, after looking into. We think there is a solution but will need a scaner to clear the codes 😔
Nice pussy.... cat
I've heard my neighbors were saying that all of you are crazy
Crazy neighbors
@@wadeanddani yeah I was also thinking about it
Very impressive. I love the wooden ceiling and the tiles in the bathroom. Also the design is amazing: simple, practical and minimal. Better design than most company made ones. Congratulations
Thanks so much, really appreciate it
The cat though❤❤❤
He is the best
